β β β β β The restaurant has been closed for some time now but they do takeaway and home delivery. We had been hearing how good their food was so we did home delivery. Really liked their food, specially the Sikandari Raan. This dish is not available in most restaurants, and they did a good job. Please don't compare it to the one served at Bukhara, at ITC Maurya!
Overall the food was good, though expensive. Service is excellent and they even sent us a complimentary dessert.
I'm really sorry that I forget to take pictures of the food after opening the delivery cartons as I got busy making arrangements for the celebration of my husband's birthday!

β β β β β After deliberating for hours between choosing Zaffran and Mirza, we decided to try the Awadhi delights of Mirza.
So after parking our car and climbing the steps of Kasbah building to the second floor, we entered upon the place and started hunting for our seats. They were screening the latest IPL match and we were given a seat close to the televised action so that we could enjoy the match with our food.
The place is a spacious joint with walls covered with rich Awadhi history including the portraits of the Maharajas and old castles etc. The furniture placement was decent to occupy all positive space in the room.
We started out culinary experience by ordering appetisers including Subz Galuti, Paneer Satrangi and Awadhi seekh. The Galuti was rich and tender, the paneer was creamy and perfect in balance and the Awadhi seekh was perfectly spiced and cooked.
I had also ordered a glass of Melon Mojito in order to try the drinks served by the institution. The mocktail was okayish as the flavours did not blend together and gave off a bit of bitter aftertaste at times.
For main course, we wanted to sample what an Awadhi biryani would be like and ordered Murgh Zam Zam Biryani with a side of Bakarkhani naan.
The whole presentation and plating of the Biryani was amazing with the handi covered with dough that was cooked to crisp perfection. We almost wanted yo eat the dough itself?
The Biryani rice was cooked perfectly although the chicken pieces could have been a bit more tender to add to the overall texture of the dish.
Bakarkhani naan was decent. I have had better in delhi.
We ended our food journey by ordering Pakhtuni Halwa(Made with bottle gourd) and it was heavenly. The plating was proper and the whole dish oozed a shining beauty which was probably due to the copious amount of desi ghee in the dish. The gourd was properly cooked before adding dry fruits and sweetener. The best part was that the dish was not overly sweet. We really enjoyed the taste of it.
The biggest let down of the place was its lacklustre, weak service. We had to wait a good amount of time for the servers to bring us extra spoons, refill the sliced onions and chutney bowls and in bringing our bill. The organisation needs to ensure that their service is equivalent to the food standards they are serving.
Overall, the place is worth visit a few times in order to fully sample the Awadhi delights it has to offer.
My rating: 4/5 | Will visit again to see if the service improves.

β β β β β Mirza ,One of the best places for authentic Awadhi cuisine. Melt in the mouth galoutis to authentic Nimoni ka Salan to the Pakhtuni ka Halwa, it's just too good .And now they've started home delivering their lovely food so one can enjoy it right at home too.
The packaging of of the food was done in eco friendly containers. It was neatly labelled as to which dish is inside it .
We ordered KATHAL KI SHAMMI which came in a portion size of 6 kebabs. Flat and round shaped kebabs made out of jackfruit and their own signature spices were delectable .
THE KHUMB KANDHARI were tandoori Mushrooms delicately made with garlic and butter. Loved them .
THE MOTI BIRYANI was aromatic and it was made with White channas and fried pieces of paneer. Sent in a traditional mud handi it was as authentic as it could get.
THE MURG NAWABI HANDI was also sent in a clay handi. It was rich , flavourful and their traditional TAFTAN bread made the perfect accompaniment to savour with the Murg Nawabi Handi .
I've always loved the food . It's made with great care ,good quality and is authentic.

β β β β β What I ate? - Moti Biryani, Murgh Parda Nashi, Butter Naan
Food - 5/5
Affordability - 5/5
β«οΈRecently I ordered from this place and it was worth it.
β«οΈMoti Biryani - This biryani came in a handi (earthen pot) and it was very flavourful. It had chickpeas and paneer mixed with rice.
β«οΈMurgh Parda Nashi - This is one of the best chicken dishes I have tried so far. It had pieces if chicken tikkas mixed in keema gravy. The gravy was so tempting. And it had a covering of egg on top. This dish is must try.β€οΈ
β«οΈThe food packaging was done nicely. Overall, you must try out the dishes of this place.

β β β β β I got to know about this place from one of my friend who is living near Gk-1. So I had a look at their menu and it was like I wanted to order all. But then I had to restrict myself and the menu had Lucknowi themed dishes so ought to try out that.
I had ordered
- Irani tandoori chicken - this was cooked so yumm.. the smoky flavour was the best.
- Murgh Nawabi handi - This was really yumm.. It is highly recommended from my end. My mom loved it a lot.
- Murgh zam zam biryani - This biryani had chicken as usually in a chicken biryani we don't find more than 1 or 2 pieces. Loved the flavours. They send gravy with the biryani as well.
- Ulte tawa ka paratha - it was my first time and it was good.
- Bakarkhani
- Taftaan
These two breads I had ordered to taste and it was different , soft and amazing with the murgh nawabi handi. Even you have it with chicken but you will be getting that taste of the bread. Though breads are on an expensive end but you must try it.
I enjoyed the food which was the best part.
