★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place to visit for doll and mythology lovers . Nice doll collection from all over India as well as world. You'll got to see so many handcrafted things here. The old man, who made most out of these will show you photos of his achievements along with this museum if you are interested.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely an excellent place in Kolkata where dolls of various countries are being exhibited and story of the Ramayana and the Mahabharata also being presented with an unique method through dolls. Various types of cultural activities for children are being held here throughout the year. It was founded in the year 1972. An ideal place for children for getting enjoyment with lot of learning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a great place to visit for kids and it runs solely on donations! When you visit, you can't withhold the respect for this place.
It has 4 floors full of dolls, toys and other items. It will take all day if everything is desired to be seen fully. It has two halls depicting the epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata via model art. It's really wonderful!
They also sell greeting cards made by the children who are enrolled there. It is a must visit, I would say.

This museum dedicated to children. It has a large collection of dolls from eighty eight countries around the world, a collection of Ganesha statues, a toy gallery and a collection of cars. It's greatest attraction, however, is its narration of the epics the Ramayana and the Mahabharata.

It has 4 floors full of dolls, toys and other items. It will take all day if everything is desired to be seen fully?. It has two halls depicting the epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata via model art. Today when a child walks into Nehru Children's Museum, he walks into a world of treasure. It touches the imaginative mind and encourages him to know more. The exhibits in the museum which are spread over 4 floors, enable a child to take off to the world of epics, the world of science and to dream world?. This museum is built because Nehru ji has a huge affection with Children and Children also use to love Chacha Nehru a lot. You can come here with your family bringing kids. This place is so good and knowledgeable to know the history about Ramayana and Mahabharat. So I suggest Parent's must bring their kids in this lovely well maintained museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every child must visit this place...known for conducting workshops and classes in art throughout the year, prominent esp during summer.. this place is an ideal hangout for kids to learn and explore art...adults will love connecting to the inner child here..that will make you happy
It also houses museum on toys and Ramayana and Mahabharata told through puppets..
