★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter is in this school since her playgroup. She is now in high school.
Kindergardan is very good. Their principal Sonali Kulkarni is carrying legacy of great Meena Chandawarkar madam. Primary school's principal Devaki Sutar is also matured and responsible. But high school(2018)...I am very disappointed. We miss Meena Chandawarkar madam very much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am in the process of looking for a school for my daughter who will turn 4 this March (2017). New India School was one of the schools on my list, predominantly because we have a house in Kothrud. Unfortunately, when we went to visit the school and ask about their admissions procedure, they did not entertain us, the very basic expectation of any parent, when looking for a school is to understand what the educational institution has to offer for a child's development. When asked if we could see the facility or if there is anyone to give us information about the schools curriculum and all the activities that they do, they bluntly said we do not show the facility, it is not our policy. There was no attempt of asking us what we wanted to know, they just stared at our faces as if asking us "what are you doing here, everything is online..!!". And these institutions have the audacity to ask thousands for rupees in fees for something they are not worth.
As responsible parents and citizens we must come together to stop this kind of attitude and functioning of a educational institution, it is a shame that people who have limited people's skills and even more limited education are the face of educational institutions like NEW INDIA. Please think twice before enrolling your child in a institution, I would not recommend wasting your time visiting or researching this school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best schools in the area. The management and teachers are really nice. The fees are reasonable, besides they never asked for a single penny outside the fees in 2 years.. Its a place to give your children education in English medium but without disconnecting them from Indian Culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great school . Gud teachers,good management,systematic and planned academics. Informative and disciplined teaching methods. No showbiz . Good mess facility.
Its perfect as a school should be ! No interference in parents personal ways of teaching learning process. Good activities,good and clean campus. No school can be perfect and ideal... But NIS has an atmosphere like we have at home. Teachers are caring,friendly and I must say doing whatever best they can do. Can't ask for nothing more.
Activities and programs are well thought over, related to the development of kids in all fields.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is regarding the location and ambiance of the school.
The school is situated in a residential colony, which often creates a traffic problem in the mornings and afternoons. The bus system as well as the dropping point for children is highly unorganized.The parents lack the basic knowledge of simple road safety and cause a havoc in the cramped road near the school every morning.This problem has been going on since the past 10 years, and the school authorities have failed to come up with any solution.Children often stand with boards in their hands to increase awareness about the traffic and road safety issue but that is as far as it gets.
Regarding the ambiance of the school. As mentioned earlier in the review the school has been built in a residentially crowded area and hence lacks the free space that children deserve.
The ground facilities are about 300m away from school and is inaccessible during the breaks.
But the school is surrounded by a beautiful mountain on one side(same mountain which the school authorities have time and again cut down to expand their campus). And grounds are well maintained and well equipped.
