β β β β β Oceanic sound and vision, a music lover's paradise - high ceilings, beautiful smell of polished wood, a cool atmosphere and rich music playing in the background...
My first visit to Oceanic was 4 years back when I was looking for a pair of floor standing speakers. I was greeted by an ever smiling Regi sir along with the mighty knowledgeable Mr. Mahendra Dave.
They took the time to patiently listen to me for almost an hour, my needs, music tastes and budget. While they accompanied me to the listening room, I was amazed to see the collection of CDs and records. Great stuff..
On entering the listening room, I was enthralled to see the audio equipment - a moderately lit room with a softly glowing tube amplifier connected to a pair of fairly large piano gloss floor standing speakers. The other equipment were not on but even before I started listening, I knew I was in for a treat. 20 minutes of music playing and I was carried away by this exceptional system, shimmery high frequencies floating in thin air, life like vocals and low frequencies tight and so sure-footed but never overpowering the room. I never had this experience before, it was like live musicians playing in the room.
I knew I had to take the speakers home but then will it match my equipment back at home. Mr. Dave made me a fantastic offer that I had no reasons to decline. I'm glad that I didn't, these are quite definitely the last speakers that I'll ever buy. This was backed by an exceptional service of installation and calibration of the system at my place as per my equipment and room conditions.
I would recommend Oceanic sound and vision to anyone who loves to listen to music the way it's meant to be heard. Their immense knowledge, courtesy and service are truly outstanding.
