There is also a temple behind. Every 15 days people celebrate some festival. All their spirituality comes out on loud speakers. It's difficult to live here in so much noise pollution. Especially be ready to tolerate 9 days of hell during Navratri.
The Association is okay for the owners. The tenants are treated as free-loaders. A mix of good and great people in general.
The construction quality of flats is pretty bad. My walls had everything from small cracks to big holes in them. Wardrobe handles are coming out. During heavy south facing rains, water comes in through the closes windows underneath the frame in one room. East facing rain floods the kitchen. Also, the manual-door lift pleads to close the door all night in a pretty loud and rhythmic machine voice.
The best thing in my apartment is the unhindered view of the lake. It wins over every other issue on a beautiful rainy day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fair enough location! Get a lake view from one side, though the lake has dried up. Houses are big and spacious. The lift is quite small.
Market is nearby, and all amenities are available at walking distance.
