★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard good things about this place from lots of acquaintances hence decided to pay a visit. The place is hidden amongst innumerable shops on the gariahat broadwalk and one can easily miss out if not paying attention.
Nonetheless we arrived and ordered Chhana r dalna, Chitol Muitthya, Bhetcki Paturi, Kochi Pathar Jhol with Basmati rice.
While both the fish items tastes spot on and impressed us, we were tad disappointed with the mutton dish as the meat was rather on the tougher side which is unexpected from a "kochi patha".
The veg item was so so, pocket pinch is average, would recommend a visit.

Tried 3 items- Halud Misti Pulao, Murgi(Chicken) Dakbanglo, Chingri(Prawn) Malaikari.
Pulao and Murgi Dakbanglo preparation was very good. It was very tasty. Chingri Malaikari was good but could have been better.
It is very good place to try authentic Bengali food. I am looking forward to visiting the place again and try some other food items as well.
Only one thing was missing. The sincerity of the people working there. They are dressed in traditional outfit but there servicing was poor. When they were giving spoons they were just throwing it the plates in very rough way, neither they provided glass to drink water. On asking for glass then only they provided it. It could be due to rush of the hour. Still it is an area they have to improve upon.
Taste-4.5/5, service-2.5/5
Would recommend others to try this restaurant for mouth watering food items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very home-like food. Loved their service. I would recommend everyone to try their Daab Chingri, chicken kosha and Chanar Kofta. And also the paan shot at the end is heavenly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is fine. A little over-priced, but still its understandable. But the manager is too rude. They kept a mineral water bottle on our table without us asking for it. We did not use it but they charged us for it. When we pointed it out they blamed us. How was it our fault?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality is good but taste is decent. You will have to wait a long time for the food after placing the order. It must be acknowledged that the way they are served is good, they use banana leaf on the plate which is finely cutted in round shape, that is preety nice, staff's behaviour are also good. But again it is a major problem that you have to wait for a long time and the prices of the food is very high according to their taste.
