Very old cave in the middle of the park, good for visiting in the evening. Temperature inside the cave is 2-3 deg lesser than outside and very pleasant. We can hear echoes too inside the cave as the rocks inside are very old.

Nice place located on Jangli Maharaj road. Popularity of this place is Lord Shivaling and the cave that is created in complete stone. There is big trees in front of cave so we can do relax in the shadow for some time. There is a water storage in front of cave developed in base stone.

An 8th century rock cut Hindu temple from the rashtrakuta period. Dedicated to Shiva, it was a monumental monolithic excavation with a notable circular Nandi mandapa and a large pillared mandapa. It is a temple of three rock-cut cave sanctums, likely dedicated to Brahma-Shiva-Vishnu originally, but currently to Parvati-original Shiva-Ganesha. Sadly many of the inner idols have been vandalised by invaders. As known as the Panchaleshvara cave", "Bhamburde caves of Pune", "Pandoo caves", or "Panchaleshvara temple"; north of Pune, this site is now a part of Shivajinagar (Pune), surrounded by modern societies & structures. Open as of February 2022 post the COVID pandemic 2nd wave and doing puja inside the sanctum is allowed. Place is cleaned often and they don't allow pics in the inner temple area, also monitored by CCTV.

Nice place to visit. The temple is situated below ground level that is the reason why it is called Pataleshwar. It has main deity as Shiva which is well organised. Also it has idol of Devi and Hanuman. It questions how people have made such marvelous structures at older times with such precision. The columns, rooms and wall are so well carved. Front mandap has Nandi as well. It would have been better if there would be some more information about the history of it along with some basic facilities in the campus like drinking water and toilets. Nearby Jangali Maharaj temple has all such basic facilities and we'll maintained.

An ancient wonder amidst the busy city, that makes for a hangout spot for upcoming generation. The carvings and structure are very beautiful, especially the inside of the mandir where they do not allow to record/capture. The place is an epitome of indistinctive skills of the sculptor and their imagination??. Also the chafa trees add to the beauty of the place.

A nice place to sit and enjoy peaceful time. You can bring your gang here, eat or even sleep under the huge tree. The cave has a temple. You can sit inside the cave also. But they would not allow to sit for a long time inside the cave as it might get crowded.
