★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to visit at the bank of the Yamuna river. Different idols are worshiped including Shanidev and Yamadev. One can pray sitting there. An ancient banyan tree is also present which is the witness of the transition of the fort's fortunes. Overall a good place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for devotees tour, but not so good for place of worship. The only tendency of the Brahmins there is to get hold of persons coming to it and grab money out of nothing. There is a huge Banyan tree which is said to be never dies. The attraction lies round it.

This tree was used as Akshay Vatt for many years till 2019 when original Akshay Vatt was opened for devotees.
There are many idols of god and goddess in underground.
This temple is located on bank of river Yamuna.
This temple comes under Akbar fort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amongst numerous Hindu pilgrimage sites in Prayagraj, Patalpuri Temple is considered to be the holiest shrine in the city. Located within the complex of Prayagraj Fort, earlier Allahabad Fort, Patalpuri is an underground temple which has great religious significance. As per the folklore, the temple was visited by Lord Rama. It is also believed that this popular shrine in Prayagraj was also visited by Hiuen Tsang - a Chinese traveller and writer.
The temple complex includes one of the oldest trees of the country - Akshaya Vat. It is a sacred fig tree that has its mention in Hindu mythology. The legend has it, there was a time when Lord Narayana, for a moment, flooded the entire universe when he was questioned about his divine power by a sage called Markandeya. During this entire scene, the tree of Akshaya Vat was the only thing on the earth that was seen above water level. However, an amazing thing to know about this tree is that its roots have created one of the shrines in the temple. Today, not just the temple but pilgrims also worship this age-old tree with utmost devotion and ardour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is also known as Akshayvat Temple, located in Prayagraj- UP, near Samgam ghats.
This has one of the oldest Banyan tree which is famous for salvation, as per Hindu mythology.
Temple is clean has bit narrow passings inside it. There are more than 20-30idols in the temple, down stairs. Pujaris might ask for donations in front of each idols, keep the changes with you.
