Pearl Hearing Aid Centre & Clinic - Kolkata

I had taken a 9 year old boy from a poor family to be fitted with hearing aid. I am impressed with the efficiency and compassion shown by the people who run this clinic.

I had a real good experience at Pearl...Hospitality was very good...very polite and cooperative behaviour... Extremely neat and clean clinic... Overall they provide good service..

Requesting everyone to read the complete review: We went for the trial on Dec 2nd week of 2020 and we purchased the hearing aid on 4th week of Dec 2020 from this Pearl Hearing aid center. When we went for trial what machine they have given using that my mother was able to hear everything crystal clear, but when we went for purchase then it was not that much clear, it was almost 80/90% clear compare to the trial day, but as they insisted that it will be adjusted after use of 2/3 weeks or a month so we took it. So after purchase my mother used to face so much problem with that hearing aid, the voice were not clear that much and there use to be so much other noise, then my mother started keep going to that clinic almost once in every alternate week some times they increase the volume sometimes they reduce the volume but it was not solving the problem, then my mother went to many ENT specialist doctor for doing the check up that is there any other problem with her ear, but everyone told that no its fine, the problem is with the hearing aid, so they guided to get it replaced from where we purchased. Then after almost 10/15 visits to the Clinic in 3/4 months finally they told us that they will replace it with new machine, so we thought that new machine will fix the issue, but it didn't, even we don't know that which machine they given to use that was really a new machine or not, but they opened the new machine they put the old machine's receiver inside the new machine and then handed over to us. When my mother asked to the audiologist that why they have not given the new receiver which came with the new machine then she replied that we have to use the old receiver only. But still that problem was not solved. After 5/6 months we got infected with covid. So it took almost 2/3 months to come back to normal life. Then almost after 7/8 months again my mother went to some other ENT doctor regarding this problem they said that only problem is with this hearing aid that's why the sound is not clear at all. Again my mother went to this Pearl Hearing aid Clinic to fix this issue, then the audiologist told to take speech therapy from them so that they can earn some more money for every speech therapy session. Then after almost 20/25 visits my mother got frustrated and asked for refund, we paid Rs.80,000 and that not a matter of joke. But then that audiologist started misbehaving with my mother, she told to my mother that do what ever you can do we will not refund your money at any cost. I have attached the bill and the warranty card which shows that warranty is till 2022 DEC , but they are not cooperating with us. So we have to find some legal way to get the resolution from this case. So if you are going for purchasing a new hearing aid from this center you might not get such problem, but if you get the problem then these are the consequences. If you are okay to take the risk you can go ahead with this clinic.

If any customer had a bad experience this clinic use to tell them to delete their review otherwise they will not give any service to that customer. This is the worst hearing clinic I have ever seen, I already explained earlier that what are things we have gone through in my previous review. So still after getting this bad treatment being helpless we connected to the agency (hear.com) for this problem and they have agreed to courier the new receiver to the clinic and get it fixed in the clinic for the hearing aid what we purchased. But as I have explained all the things what we have faced in last 1 year in earlier review now they are telling me to remove that review otherwise they will not provide us any service. What behavior they are showing is not acceptable at all, everyone has the authority to write it what difficulties they have faced, and as a warranty they are bound to give the service till the warranty period , but they are not helping at all.

I visited Pearl 1 week ago with my grand mother. The way they treated my grandmother was really satisfying and the people of pearl they were excellent.they are really helpful and I will suggest all of you to visit pearl. I just want to thank all of the stafs over their thank you so much ....

Excellent experience. I had visited this place with my uncle for his hearing problem. The audiologist was extremely polite and was very patient with us while explaining the product in details. The test was done in a sound proof room with latest technology, On enquiring I was also given a tour of the place, which I found, very humble of them. Hearing Aid brand recommended was Signia (formerly known as Siemens). My uncle is extremely happy and satisfied with their behaviour and the product. Another thing which I am very impressed was to know that their programming & tuning is totally free for unlimited times. I will surely recommend them to my relatives.

Visited Pearl Hearing Aid center in December 2021, for procuring hearing aid for my mother. They were extremely helpful in conducting the hearing test and showing the best possible options within our budget. The delivery of the device and assistance was seamless. Service was excellent and also post delivery , they have been very prompt in addressing any issues. My mom is extremely happy with the service.
