Update: At evening they called me to tell vaccine available and i went there and took vaccine. Thanks for informing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today my appointment was scheduled via the Cowin site and I landed at Phoenix Hospital at 9 am. There was no arrangement for car parking and it's on a busy road. So please plan to get a driver or keep time to park the car slightly further and walk back to the location. There is some space to park two wheelers right infont of the hospital.
There were 26 people waiting before me. I would probably have been 10th person had I arrived 10 mins earlier.
The hospital staff was very professional - right from the watchman to the nurse giving tokens and taking photos, updating the details online, then guiding to the next room for vaccination and then to the nurse in the waiting area noting our name, age, kept under observation for about 30 mins.
They were only accepting cash Rs250/- each. While everyone was wearing masks, there was no social distancing, the setup itself being slightly congested, especially the waiting area. While there was no physical certificate available, my details were promptly updated on the Cowin site. Also do not forget to get yourself clicked on the photo booth in the waiting area before you leave for home.
On the whole a fairly good 50 mins experience if you ignore the social distancing part...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had booked an appointment for my kid for Cerbowax for 0900-1100. As per schedule we reached the hospital by 0845 and reported to the registration. We were told to wait. At 0930 when we enquired we were told that we'll have to wait till they get 20 childern. Surprisingly, they had not even estimated the status and did not bother to check if they are likely to get 20 childern for vaccination. They started to act only when I questioned their procedures. When asked how much time it will take, we were told 2 hrs and that they will call us. However, there were no calls after we left. When we called back to enquire, we were told to come fast. When we rushed to the place the place was flooded with people for vaccination and we had to wait patiently. Post vaccination, there were no instructions, nor was any batch details given. Also there was no waiting area post vaccination. We waited in the lobby below for about 10 min just to realise that others were just taking the vaccine and leaving.
I fail to understand, if the government issues procedures, why can't it be implemented and if the procedures are not possible to be implemented, why don't the hospitals intimate the government about the same.
Visit the hospital at own risk. No professionalism, no social distancing, no adherence to protocol.
