β β β β β I recently delivered my baby at Phoenix hospital and had to share my great experience. Dr Urvashi is calm and beyond brilliant - she guided me well all through pregnancy as well as through my labor and delivery. She ensured I had a normal natural delivery. One can blindly depend on her decisions. Her entire team took great care of me while I was at the hospital. The nurses and staff are extremely sweet and helpful and help in the quick recovery of patients. Dr Parveen stayed up in a non-stop shift all through my 26 hours labor and took prompt quick decisions. The rooms are big and comfortable and feel as good as being home! I am obliged to the entire team at Phoenix and indebted to Dr Urvashi.

β β β β β Got our first baby delivered here. Overall experience has been nothing less than a 5 star. Every small piece of the hospital is brilliantly managed and taken care of. No restrictions. Neat and clean environment and fantastic staff, from doctors to hohsekeeping. Food was brilliant all 3 days. Overall costing is so sweet compared to others today's market. Approx 1 lac for a normal delivery and 1.2 lacs for a C-section.
Highly recommended place to enjoy delivery experience. My sincere thanks to management and everyone in the staff. Thank you!!

β β β β β The staff is excellent. Dr. Urvashi is too good and calmest doctor I have ever met... Except for one doctor in emergency all the doctors are kind supportive. You can one rotten apple in a basket of fresh and good apples. I don't want to disclose her name. She was on night duty on 11 November 2021. Beware of her...rest all is perfect

β β β β β Most of the time nurses are not available in nurses counter. Provided spoilt soft diet for patient which was very discussing and unresponsive of kichen staff. For any emergency need to wait for a long time.House keeping also took signature but not provided mosquito repellent liquidator.

β β β β β Not recommended for Pre-term births. We stayed at the hospital for 27 days and so have sufficient experience of the space. The experience was nothing less than traumatic.
For anyone going for a preterm birth, please first go and look at their NICU. In stark contrast to the reception area, the NICU section of the nursery looks like a cluttered garage with insensitively sharp ceiling lights, random wires and poor ventilation. According to what we saw, most of the nurses often let the babies cry. Most of them did not even make an eye contact with the baby, even while changing the diapers or feeding them.
The neonatologist Preeti was taking our case. We didnβt feel care or compassion in her time with us. We paid her over 50k for her consultation and didnβt even get to speak with her 5 times during our entire time at the hospital. When we shared our psychological and financial distress at the long NICU stay, she shocked us by saying that βyou should have thought about all this before having a preterm baby.β This was the last straw, soon after, we shifted to Sitaram Bhartiya institute.
More details:
- Shockingly, there was no feeding room for new moms. The new moms were told to hide from the camera to feed the baby on uncomfortable feeding chairs.
- C-section is a major surgery. My experience of a preterm birth was alienating and psychologically painful. No emotional or psychological support was provided pre or post- emergency surgery. In fact, the doctor even forgot to congratulate us.
- The nursery had an atmosphere of hostility when we went to provide Kangaroo mother care to our baby. It was sad to feel such insensitivity from most of the paid caretakers.
- We spent over 3 Lakhs along with the NICU costs. And still, Post-surgery, stitch removal and other consultations were chargeable @2500 INR per meeting.
- While there were many shared room that were free, the admin put us in a shared room with a woman who had come for an abortion. It was heart-wrenching to hear her moans and cries from beyond the thin separation of a curtain. I wonder if they are aware of the psychological distress, this can cause to a new mother whose baby is in the NICU.
We are still healing from the overall experience. We wish that you have a good experience of birthing, wherever you choose to go.

β β β β β I lost my unborn child here. Doctor here has literally no clue on what she is doing. She promised something and blamed it on fate when she did not do what she was asked to do. Also, she needs to work on her temper.
I've seen her yelling in inhumane manner at her staff.
If you care about your unborn child, please do yourself a favor and visit some other place for reduction. I hope I meet my child in heaven. Miss you beta.

β β β β β Feels less like hospital and more like art museum because of interior and art pieces, very calm and peaceful environment.
