β β β β β After three weeks on the road in India (Kochi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Kerauli, Agra), our party of 6 finished our trip with 4 nights at Prakash Kutir. Our hosts Ajay and his wife and his son Sagar were very attentive and made our stay very comfortable. Sagar especially made some great recommendations for places and eateries to visit and even organised a car and driver and hosted a day of sight-seeing around the city at the last minute. Highly recommended.

β β β β β Stayed here for a month-it was a lovely experience. Ajay and Savita were very gracious. The room was bright and the large terrace was uplifting. Location is perfect-market is 5 minutes away, an array of coffee shops and OLA cabs also arrive within minutes. Savita's meals were delicious and the staff in the hotel were always cheerful. A wonderful place to land in Delhi!

β β β β β The place was very well managed and the hospitality was great. I found it very refreshing to be in such a welcoming homestay . The place is centrally located and nearby to metro station as well as khan market, hauz khas village and other party places. Its in a quiet and safe neighborhood specially for single women travelers like myself.

β β β β β Extremely bad experience at this home stay. Owner a.k Gupta don't help their guest at all. On request they dont provide lunch and dinner however they do commitment for the same before booking.
Even his son shown bad manner with us. He was drunk and suddenly switched off the stair light when we were going upwards.
Although rooms are expensive @3000 , but very dirty and small. Foul smell was coming from bed cover.
Except location everything is negative for it.
This home stay is strongly not recommend to all tourist.

β β β β β Very good hotel. I don't know whether it can be called as hotel or not because a family stays in the ground floor and top portions(2 floors,3 rooms per floor) are given as rooms. This is being administered by them.It has separate rooms and sharing dining table, living room, kitchen for each floor. We can cook whatever we want.we can use Gas,vessels, fridge, oven. They have provided complimentary break fast which is very good. And the rooms are very clean.

β β β β β For the past two years, I have made Prakash Kutir my home in Delhi. I have never felt to welcomed, and at home, in any other hotel, homestay or guest house anywhere. The Gupta family could not be warmer or more helpful and the location could not be better. I also like the light-filled rooms, decorated with Indian accents, and the delicious home cooked food. I feel completely safe, comfortable, and at home here.

β β β β β The Gupta family is so welcoming and accomodating. My room was comfortable and quiet with western amenities. There's also a communal kitchen that came in handy. The breakfast was always phenomenal. Mrs. Gupta clearly loves to cook for her guests and her son Sagar was very helpful with his suggestions on how to weave my way around the markets in South Delhi. This was my first time in India and I'm so happy that my tour India For Beginners started here as I immediately felt safe and very taken care of! It was a great way to ease into the next month of discovering Incredible India. I highly recommend staying here on your travels.
