★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd been a patient of ocd for more than 2 years . I had struggles figuring out what's exactly wrong with me and I used to surf google in order to find out solutions to my problems . As I am just a teenager , no one really believed me that there can be something wrong with me , everyone thought of it as a joke . After 10 months of all the drama I went to a psychiatrist , he simply used to give me medicines without even listening to my problems and that I think is the most important part of a genuine treatment , after 6 months I left the meds and asked my parents to look for a therapist and then luckily I found Dr. Uttara Chakraborty . Ma'am is generous , really good listener and an optimist . She discusses to the root of the problem and lets me figure out whether if it is even a problem or I am just hallucinating and overthinking . Just because of her support and regular visits to her clinic , I saw an immense recovery which I never thought I could have seen . I used to have extreme thoughts , causing me depression before , but after 3-4 months of therapy , I became a really energetic and happy kid . Thanks a lot to her years of experience and patience she'd developed over the course of time
