★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Experience on Thar was really adventurous. The driver was literally driving on some almost vertical slopes at very high speed. The road through lush green mountains is a blessing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dangi sahab (owner- pushkar desert Safari) the best cooperative person in desert Safari. He have good experience in Safari fild. Jeep Safari the best for off-route in dunes pushkar. We had sun set Safari and experience was great. Only thing water bottle very expensive at sunset point !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First and foremost, price negotiation is key to realize "value for money" on the desert safari. They offer 5 kinds of rides (camel only/camel buggy/jeep). We paid 3200 for a single-horse buggy. And the safari lasted for something like 1.5-2 hrs. I recommend starting negotiation for half of the price that the "agent" quotes. (We regret not negotiating further!). I believe there are multiple agents there, so if one quotes a high price you could try another.
The experience was good. They take you to a place by whichever ride you selected. There you can wear traditional Rajasthani outfits, take photos with them, dance with some of the people playing music there, ride horses and dirt bikes, etc. Of course all of these have to paid for separately. That place is not like a vast desert, but there would be sand beneath your feet. Our buggy driver was very friendly and ensured that we had a good time.

Being here in Rajasthan for so many years, I didn't get a chance to explore Pushkar in this way specially at the time of Pushkar festival/fair.
Variety of Camels, Horses were there to watch out for. Didn't realise that this experience could be so memorable.
All our group had a blast here.
Still there is too much to explore.
Much recommended!?
