★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried to make a reservation through IRCTC App, but have given up after making TWO tries. Because I have lost money in both occasions It's a complete useless app, but actually steals your money on behalf of private banks. When you use this IRCTC app to make a reservation , they have India No 1 Fraud Bank which is also a Private bank as their middle man, and use their software which authenticates your username and password.
First they will take your money long before you have booked the tickets. There will be no confirmation that your ticket has been booked or not, rather you will be taken to a page where you will be asked to authenticate your username and password.
After money is gone this is not going to happen. End result no booking done and money taken out of your account . All private banks in India are about stealing money from account holders and possibly same is true about eWallets.
