There is a regional centre of IGNOU in front of it, from where one can easily avail the information about the higher studies in IGNOU. This place is famous for the memorial of the father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi - Father of our nation. People consider it as a Holy place. So people show great respect and pray.
The garden is great. It is decorated with variety of flowers and plants.
Usually very crowded. I think mornings and evenings are best time to visit here.

the memorial area was also called Raj Ghat. It is a black marble platform that marks the spot of Mahatma Gandhi's cremation, Antyeshti (last rites) on 31 January 1948, a day after his assassination. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame burns at one end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The resting place of mahathma gandhi. It’s a beautiful place to visit. As soon as I visited red fort I rushed to this place. It’s just 10 minutes away from red fort. Entry is completely free. You should have arogya sethu app on your phone to enter this place. And should not carry food items. It’s a quiet place. Lot of people use this as a park. Well maintained gardens are there. We have to remove our shoes before entering to rajghat . There are places to keep our shoes. I think entry is till 5.30 or 6.00. It’s quite emotional to see the place as our father of nation is resting here. There will be always a lights in his tomb . Well maintained and few trees with lots of flowers gives a beautiful sight. It’s better to visit by evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, clean and peaceful park ? a little tension at the entrance, because of very rude guard, who said without Aarogya setu you can not enter, literally he said: ' Out ', but it does not require much time to download this app. After that we were welcomed to the park.
A lot of greenery, trees and birds ? special enjoyment is to walk barefoot on soft juicy grass!

One can witness a variety of flowers & trees. So, environment feels to be relaxing & joyful.
For children there is playing area with grasses all over & for couples too.
A very good place for photographers too.
Easily accessible by means of public transport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleasant and peaceful place ?surrounded by beautiful garden. You can go with family and friends and spend sometime there and the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial is properly maintained. Cleaning is done very nicely. The whole surroundings are beautiful. There a pond also which is also nice?the entry is totally free. You have to deposit your shoes before going to the memorial. No food is allowed.
