β β β β β The staff at the entrance are prompt and polite. The washroom stalls are small, but clean - which is a relief when you take your child to a public restroom. The stairs are perfect in terms of the height. Thankfully they arent halfbroken, like a lot of other places.
The Dolls Museum we all recall from our childhood memories, is not as neat as one remembers. Some of the dolls are disintegrating. I wish more information was available about some of the displays. Or perhaps there were staff members earlier who would act as guides. But during the pandemic that practice has been stopped.
However, I understand that there must be some restrictions that are causing this state of affairs. The dolls from Japan truly needed an entire aisle. One gets to appreciate the differences in appearance, features and clothes from all the various parts of the world. This was clearly visible and noticeable even among the displays for all the states of India. Space display and the display of toy trains were the best. Overall, there is scope for change. However, even without that, I'd probably go back, because the displays offer us a small peek into cultures all around the world.
No pics allowed. None were taken.

β β β β β Kids will love this place for sure. Adults can also enjoy the place if you are keen in understanding the cultures in different eras in different countries. They have dolls from almost all countries around the world from 17th century onwards. Dolls are dressed up in the dressing of those times. My kids loved the dolls from Peru the most.

β β β β β Good for children to see a collection of dolls from across the world.
However, the museum needs to put more information about dolls, at many sections, dolls are put without any labels.
No details about making process, materials used and what's the development now are missing.
There should be some tech involvement too, so that specially abled kids can also have access to it.

β β β β β Doll Museum is a good peaceful place to take your kids on a weekend for 1 hour outing. The dolls are really amazing and tells Lot about the culture of the native country.
However the museum needs to light up the place put in some life. Make it kids friendly and engaging. They can start with more lights in the premises.

β β β β β This is a small museum, but contains over 7000 dolls. It won't take more than an hour. You might think that kids would enjoy the place, but they might not enjoy the place. You cannot touch the dolls, photography is prohibited.
You will love the Peru, France, Spain and Italy's tableau the most.
Indian section is also quite beautiful.

β β β β β Visited international dolls museum with family today.. Both my daughters liked it.. There are thousands of dolls from all over the world..
Separate section for each country. It really shows the cultural and how people look like else well as the local believes.
It will take at least 1 hour to see all..
It has a separate section for each state of India too..
Kids will surely like it.. Even good for parents to) to understand.. I found this place quite informative.
Metro station is just out side the gate.
Tickets are quite reasonable.. 30 for adults and 13 for kids
I recommend this as one short visit with family.
