They are the worst people ever. Make you wait for hours and than tell you that the service isn't possible. Never, ever pick up calls. I had to travel from Bikaner to jaipur and back just to ask them if they would issue my document on the same day. Horrible. You should be ashamed of your selves. Learn from other state council who respond immediately and have respect for doctors. #raghusharma

Rajasthan Medical Council (RMC) is an exceptional office in today's world. When the emphasis is slowly shifting to efficiency and good communication in government offices, RMC retains the old world charm of arrogance, rudeness, lethargy and inefficiency. Hence this office is heritage stuff and RMC administration is doing a great job. I am writing this review in Sept 2021. (Things might change for better or for worse in future. )The idea is to help applicants who wish to register themselves with RMC. 1. It usually takes usually around 30 days for RMC registration application to be processed if all the documents are in order. (My wife’s PG registration took 3 months for processing). There are rumours that things can be done more expeditiously in RMC if one pays a bribe. However I have no experience of the same. 2. The application needs to be filled online (Rajasthan SSO website) and original documents need to be submitted either by speed post or by hand at the RMC office. Only original MBBS, MS, DM/MCh degree certificates, internship completion certificate and NOC/ previous registration certificate should be submitted to the office. For other documents only signed photocopies should be given. 3. Donot expect any communication from RMC regarding the status of your application on phone. (Most of the times nobody picks the landline phone.) Even if you go to the office, be mentally prepared to face rude behaviour and chances are nobody will give any proper reply. 4. You do receive an sms on your mobile that your application has been received. 5. If your documents are not proper you will get another sms in a few days that your application is “DEFICIENT” and you can either correct the same online or occasionaly you may have to go to the office to find out the deficiency. 6. If your documents are in order you will receive NO such sms. How long will it take for the processing of your application is kept a suspense till the end. Hence when you receive the final sms of the approval of registration you are both surprised and elated. That feels like the happiest day of your life. 7. Now you can go to the nearest Emitra and take a printout of the registration document (RMC doesnot give any hard copy) 8. Subsequently you have two options - either wait for RMC to send you your original documents by speed post or collect it from the RMC office. I waited for 2 months and then decided to collect the original documents from the office itself. 9. Original copies of MBBS, MS, DM/MCh degree certificates, internship completion certificate and NOC/ previous registration certificate ONLY should have been submitted to the office. (For other documents only signed photocopies should have been given. ) If any other ORIGINAL document or cerificate have been submitted, then chances are that you wont receive them back. I had submitted my college conduct certificate and never received it back. Very rudely I was informed that they have already sent it to me by post. I was not given any date or speed post number. They were not even willing to give anything in writing regarding the same. 10. When you go to the RMC office you may have to wait for the Registrar. You will receive your documents only after the Registrar comes. Usually the Registrar comes around 4pm, hence plan your trip to the office accordingly. 11. Last but not the least, if you feel that RMC should not remain an archaic institution and its functioning should be better, do share your thoughts on social media, health ministry website and National Medical Council website

Even if one belongs to Rajasthan, please do not get registered here I am a FMG, applied for provisional registration certificate on 26th June 2020, to do internship at JLN Medical College and Hospital, Ajmer I've completed the internship on 30th June 2021 on the basis of NOC from RUHS but still didn't get the provisional registration Every time I call they say, call after 30 mins n it's been 16 months I am doing so Personally went to the council 5 times but it was of no use

Worst medical council in india. Very unprofessional staff. Even after online form submission of all self attested documents you have to physically present with all original documents at receptionist who don't know about the process. You have to submit your original document with no receiving proof and for unknown period. It will take months 2 or 3 if you are going to call regularly.

never picks up call.... reception people dont know how to deal with students problem..they dont understand half things and then they dont know how to respond...worst department ..

newer pickup can and staff do not work i apply new reg. before 2 month but college verification is still pending they did not send email to college for verification

They delay your process of registration on purpose. Don't work at all. When it was taking more than 20 days for my registration, I had to take help from one of the members of council. He called them and RMC registered me in less than half hour. So you can expect how they work in this council. Also when they took original copies of Karnataka registration, completion certificate etc I requested them to keep them safely but when I recieved those original documents by post they were all torn from the place where they stapled them. We work hard to achieve that success and those documents but they really don't care, value our time, documents. Whereas I was registered and given smart card for my registration number in Karnataka Medical Council (KMC) in just 2 hours. RMC PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THE DOCUMENTS HANDED OVER TO YOU.

It's a tedious process to get yourself registered, but seeing so many hate reviews about the place, I can say that having been to Punjab medical council, this place is much much better, they do pick up the phone and help in queries. Ring them up in the working hours on the mobile number as displayed on the website. Taking 3 weeks to get permanent registration seems like wastage of time but can't help it. They take your original degrees, but don't give any receipt for the same. It's better you collect them yourself or through someone after you get registered than asking them to post it to you address. Overall my experience was okay. Easy connectivity by auto or cab from the station, will take you 10-15 minutes. Documents verification is done before 3pm only, so make sure you reach in time. Lunch hours 1:30-2:00 pm, so kindly avoid this one. There is net cafe/print out/photocopy shop accross the road so it makes things easier.
