Its situated in civil lines heart of jaipur. We we look from Janpath the all scene was lolls like Janpath delhi raisina heels.
At the time of evening when lights are on this looks more gorgeous. This is our assembly and we all love this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rajasthan's Legislative Assembly has its headquarters in Jaipur, The building welcoming the members of the State was inaugurated in March 2001. Built entirely in stone of Jodhpur and Paharpur, the building repeats the classical architectural details of the region: jarokhas, chhatris baradaris. The central dome has a diameter of 31 metres and overlooks the building with a majesty. At night, the electric garlands wearing the building illuminate, not without recalling our Christmas illuminations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The formation of the House of People's Representatives in Rajasthan is significant in Indian Constitutional history since it was the result of the merging of 22 princely states of the former Rajputana with the Union of India.
As per the provision of Article 168 pf India's newly framed constitution, each state was required to form a legislature consisting of one or two Houses. Rajasthan chose unicameralism for its legislature, which is known as the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So beautiful building and surrounding, situated on Pankaj singhvi Marg, Lal kothi. Front of this building there are Vidhyut bhawan and amar jawan jyoti memorial. On right side corner famous SMS (swai maan singh) stadium. All these made this location so nice. Road is neat and clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The assembly meets at Vidhana Bhavan situated in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Members of the Legislative assembly are directly elected by the people for a term of 5 years. Presently, the legislative assembly consists of 200 members.
The First Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (1952–57) was inaugurated on 31 March 1952. It had a strength of 160 members. The strength was increased to 190 after the merger of the erstwhile Ajmer State with Rajasthan in 1956. The Second (1957–62) and Third (1962–67) Legislative Assemblies had a strength of 176. The Fourth (1967–72) and Fifth (1972–77) Legislative Assembly comprised 184 members each. The strength became 200 from the Sixth (1977–80) Legislative Assembly onwards. The Fourteenth Legislative Assembly was commenced on 21 January 2013.[1] Umed Singh of Barmer was youngest member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, as in 1962 election result was declared on 19 February 1962 and he was elected from Barmer, at the time he was just 25 year and 4 months old.

It is very beautiful and attractive.
It's very large according to area n range.
Unique Design n finishing is very good.
Building of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is one of the most modern legislature complexes in India.
Frame structure,Best uses traditional art & dome looking very attractive.
In lights, Night viewing is perfect.

Situated in heart of Jaipur city alongside SMS
stadium. Lighting work done on the eve of
Independence Day and Republic day is awesome.
The area
is neat and clean well maintained. Vidhan Sabha
road is well known in Jaipur, it is very wide and
clean.
Must visit place during national festivals.
