Where, Mahatma Gandhi Ji stayed for a long period
Very nice ambience and weather at the place
Situated in the centre of HP University, add a different flavor overall, by reminding of the college days

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect homestay experience. Staff is really helpful and the breakfast and dinner is just heavenly. Most suites also have a nice view. Honestly worth the 5 hr trip from kalka station

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a heritage in shimla. It belonged to our first lady health minister and she donated it to AIIMS. its just located very much close to himachal pradesh university. Before indepence Mahatama Gandhi used to stay here during his Shimla visits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Manorville - Rajkumari Amritkaur Guest house ..... Gandhiji often stayed here during his visit to Shimla .... There is one room where he stayed. Now maintained by AIIMS, Delhi as guest house for their employees..... Nice place to stay.... Antique building .... May look old..... But good one

Far from mall road, far from every tourist spot.
Poorly maintained in every aspect.
Bed is bad, washroom is bad.
Every thing is bad except the room where Gandhiji used to stay.
The head/manager is very rude and have ego issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guest house is situated on very nice place of shimla i.e. Summer hill, shimla. This place is coldest place surrounding shimla, that is the only reason to say "Summer hill". It's also adjacent to the himachal pradesh university. The facility of accommodation and service staff is also good but many times too much rush here.You can enjoy here of much biodiversity on summer hill and surrounding i.e. brass flowerring in march-april which is very attractive and that time the all roads and surrounding area of summer hill become radish due to flowering.The famous chadwich fall is also situated on walking distance. It's alos very peacefull place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This guest house was built by the 1st health minister of India ie AmritKaur. The guest house is having all the necessary items available. The food served in the canteen is very tasty.
The scenery around the guest house is also very soothing. Overall the guest house is ok but lacking in modern amenities.
There is Mahatma Gandhi special room in the guest house. Which you should visit when you are staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful place in shimla ,located in the heart of Himachal Pradesh University in summer hill. It's Rajkumari Amrit Kaur s bunglow which she donate to Aiims new delhi. Currently Aiims employees comes here for holidays. Guest house located in a very cool n calm place, surrounded by beautiful views. Once u visit there, I m dam sure that u ll never want to come back. Staff of this guest house is very polite, anytime if u need any help they will be available. Rooms are neat n tidey. I thoughroly enjoy my entire 4 days trip.
