★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would request not to visit this restaurant. They are a fraud. Ordered chicken tikka whose size was so small no would imagine. The chicken and mutton pieces are also not satisfactory which is 3 pieces for a full plate amd that too small pieces with full of gravy. My worst experience ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality of the food is totally questionable. And service is absolutely a disaster . They didn't even serve water when you enter. No courtesy at all. Worse than a road side dhaba.
Even the drink we ordered they served a torn used bottle . Dnt know they bring from the dustbin or what. Totally waste of money.
Even the butter chicken tasted like desert. Sweet as hell. Never ate such disastrous food. Thank you. Will never visit again nor suggest anyone to waste their money
They dnt deserve a single star .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best dhaba restaurant to try out in Kolkata. The chicken palang Tod consisting chicken drumsticks and shredded chicken is extremely mouth watering and this dish is a must try item. Overally the ambience is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not at all satisfied with the quality of the food. Definately overpriced. You can easily get much more tastier & bigger quantity of food at that price. Decoration, staff behavior is good but the main attraction lacks a lot. We were five & tried tawa biriyani in which you need magnifying glasses to find chicken pieces. Kulcha which is more like aloo paratha, butter nun in which butter was applied only on the first piece. Chicken bharta in which most probably pasted chicken was there because we hardly found shreded chicken in that. Most horrible was the kebab platter. Dont want to think about it again. Sorry but Not recommended.

These are the newly Launched menu which worth to try. All are my favourite can’t say this one or that one because all tastes so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambiance was really great. Very beautifully decorated place. Sitting arrangements are also very comfortable.
Here we tried chicken tandoori, Amul cheese chicken tikka as starters. The chicken tikka was really very tasty. And tandoori chicken was average.
In main course, we had Mutton biryani which was okay in taste and Pressure cooker chicken curry , I must say that it's gravy was awesome. It was so good that we ordered tandoori roti to have the roti along with it.
In dessert, we had kulfi which was also good taste.

Restaurants are celebrating the season’s best foods. But the one that caught my attention comes from RANG DE BASANTI DHABA, the quintessential Punjabi food haven that people from CITY OF JOY knows very well about.
The special menu available is making the most of the seasonal produce bursting of authentic Punjabi flavour.
Starting with SARSON KA SAAG, MAKKE KI ROTI - the ultimate winter classic. This bomb combo is traditionally paired with a block of white butter and jaggery, which I thought was an odd combination but what a world of difference it made when I tasted it together! Recommended!
The delightful PAYA SHIRI SHORBA, TOMATO SHORBA and CHICKEN MAKH MALI TARE were cooked in a variety of rustic spices, the thin stew were bursting with soothing flavours perfect for the nippy weather.
For their sweet endings, GAJAR KA HALWA made with finely grated carrots and oodlesof ghee, topped with nuts. A soul-warming treat!
Amidst the cheer and burps, from beverages I loved the BASANTI GOLI SODAS that were not part of the special winter menu but I highly recommend their BHAYANKAR THANDA COLA to try when you go there next.

NEw Ramadan SPECIAL MENU Launched.
And this place is gives you the perfect dhaba feeling.
All the foods are freshly cooked and also lovely staffs behaviors. All the staffs are sanitized and very friendly.
