★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated near Assi Ghat this historic compound is the birth place of Rani Laxmi-Bai (The famous freedom fighter & great warrior). She was born in 1835. This memorable spot has been renovated lately and now there is a golden statue of the Rani and the boundary walls narrates the major events from the life time of the Queen. Now it is well maintained.

you can feel huge happiness and peace i love this place and would suggest to that person who wants to get a peaceful place near Assi Ghat and I'll recommend to visit there.
And in my view there should have been a museum related the great queen of Jhanshi (काशी पुत्री).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You may become emotional when you visit this place. Here nothing more is there except for the मूर्ति of मनु, मनी कर्णिका And a short history about her in written as well as in pictorial form. The famous poem is also available there. Im posting the photo. The surrounding area is a bit congested and drivimg a vehicle is a bit difficult. Very well maintained but still there are many things which can be done here. Do visit here if you are in Kashi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Banaras being flooded right now exploring the back lanes make for an amazing trip down memory lane! The incredible history hidden behind the little lanes is breathtaking. Beautiful memorial to Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi and its poignant. Would definitely recommend.

Rani Laxmibai was a great warrior and had an important contribution in the freedom struggle of 1857. We have also always heard the name of the city of Jhansi with Rani Laxmibai but she was born here in Varanasi. This memorial has been built in her memory in Bhadaini area of Varanasi where important moments of her life are depicted. It is absolutely free to enter here and it is well maintained. By coming here you can know about the many more things about the life of Rani Laxmibai.?
