★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to enjoy the view of mandav then only it is advisable to visit at Rani rupmati palace. Apart from it there is not much to enjoy.
Note:- you need to walk a little bit and it is a bit steep. So if you have some problem in your leg please take this point while traveling there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The views are good. The architecture is okay.; the stone arches create interesting spaces. Mostly, it is more of the story, and what you can conjure with your own imagination.
The kund, the stepwells and baodi really, realyyyyy need cleaning and maintenance. There was garbage thrown into it. :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My visit to Rani Rupmati's palace reminded us of the 60's hit song Ajaa re Pardeshi...It was nostalgic to note that she was an expert in singing the raag Malhar and that it was her singing that had attracted the king and inspired him to build the pavillion mandap for her to offer prayers to river Narmada before she ate anything in the morning. The elaborate water storage system is really marvellous. We missed the sight from the tower as it has still not reopened after closure due to Covid. The gardens are beautiful.
