Royal China opens a Cloud Kitchen ?? There may be a lot of things that changed in 2020 but 1 thing remains unchanged and that’s the love I have for different cuisines around the world and one particular among them is Cantonese. It is complex, versatile and above all delicious. So, when I heard one of my favorites in town, Royal China has opened up a cloud kitchen I couldn’t help but order a feast for myself and the fam. Here’s what all we tried and hey, we recommend all of it. Chicken with Black pepper – A great little dish with pepper which is quite addictive, loved by kids and adults alike. This particular dish by Royal China was not overly salty and the peppery touch was mild enough and that’s how it earned the title of the favorite of the night. Chicken Shanghai Soup Dumplings – Traditional stuff and you know what’s best about dishes like these? They have a masterly touch to it, it’s one of the finest Cantonese dishes I’ve had in a longtime. Golden Fried Prawns – The perfect Shrimp appetizer for any event, at least at my place as all of us are seafood lovers. The perfect golden paired beautifully with chili and garlic mayo – Aah, Heaven! Seafood Fried Rice – Everything I love, in a bowl! Prawns, rice, rich fish sauce! Boy oh boy, that umami flavor made me go ummmm! Ended the meal with Banana Toffee Fritters – A classic Chinese dessert where slices of banana are battered and deep fried, then coated in toffee and sesame seeds. The verdict – Reasonably satisfying! The food came in hot and packaged neatly without any spillage (the sauces). All in all a great experience where the family loved all of the dishes which is quite rare at my place, Me being the most finicky about delivered food but I must say the Cloud Kitchen of Royal China is here to stay. #LazeezStories #MrLazeez #royalchinainpune

Royal China #RoyalChinaPune #AmazingFood #NonIndanisedChineseFood Royal China is a well known brand that serves traditional Chinese cuisine, the food is quite different on the flavor part as compared to the indianized version of chinese food that most of us have experienced till date. I recently got an opportunity to have a few dishes from their newly opened cloud/delivery kitchen which is located in the bund garden area in Pune. This was my 5th occasion of trying food from Royal China and I must say that they are highly consistent on the food quality that they prepare. Minced Chicken in Fresh Lettuce Wrap: As this was home delivered, the food was served in deconstructed format with lettuce leaves, different sauces and chicken pieces which were tossed along with assorted veggies, the texture of this mixture was extremely crunchy, I was really surprised to see the crunchiness in the chicken-vegetable mixture even after travelling a long distance. Although there was no instruction provided on how to assemble the dish, I myself assembled it, drizzled some sweet, spicy and tangy sauces on it and to my surprise it turned out to be a superb dish. A short note/instructions about assembling the dish would definitely help the person ordering the food! #Musthave. Chicken Shanghai Soup Dumplings: These dumplings had small chicken pieces in it along with some thin liquid (which I believe was some soup/stock) in it , it had slightly thick coating which I think must have been intentionally done to hold the stock/soup inside it and avoid it from dropping down, it was mildly spiced and went well along with the variety of the dips provided. #Recommended Flaming Chicken in Superior Sauce: Perfectly cooked juicy boneless chicken strips done in a well balanced sauce was a delight to my taste buds. The sauce lived up to its name and was truly superior in taste. #Delighted! Prawns Fried Rice: Stellar! The rice was done with minimal oil along with prawns and eggs and undoubtedly it was one of the best fried rice which I have tried till date, there are very few places where you will find minimal traces of oil in fried rice and Royal China is definitely in my top rated places. #WhatADish Chocolate Mud Cake: Chocolate lovers Paradise, Rich, gooey and dense chocolate cake which was covered with a thick chocolate sauce was truly a sinful dessert, indeed it was a perfect ending to the Royal Meal. Overall: The food was neatly packed in spill proof containers, the portion size is sufficient for two people and the food quality was definitely top notch! I would highly recommend Royal China to all the people who want to try traditional Chinese cuisine without keeping any preconceived notions about Chinese food which we used to. Best Wishes to Team Royal China!
