★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a 'Malgudi days' type railway station, I have visited this railway station since my childhood days in 80s, since the days when steam engine trains still used exist. Love this place, it's so peaceful and tranquil, indeed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just remembering many evenings which I have spent along with my friends on this railway station. Just loved it. Not visited this station for last seven eight years but still have phone number of the station inquiry. Haaaaahaaaa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small station with pollution free. Very few train stopped here in a day. Most of the facility is not available here. Situated beside Bengal-Jharkhand Road border (check post) by hardly 30 meter. The platform is used by many morning walker.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rupnarayanpur is a very nice place...It has scenic beauty.. Places like Maithon, Bathan bari, Sobuj Dip, Ajay Nod, Hill Top , Boating Club are few of the famous places which are unknown to many visitors. Weather is also decent over there, actually it is situated over Choto Nagpur plateau.. Jharkhand Border is also very close to this place. Hindusthan cable Limited was the only workshop in this place, this was a cable manufacturing unit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must introduce EMU trains here upto burdwan via asansol, asansol is a city area like Kolkata, but asn dgp don't get priority or facilities like Kolkata or its surrounding districts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place, devoid of city crowds. It's a small town, but have few good places to visit nearby. Like Kalyaneshwari Temple, DVC water reservoir, Panchet water reservoir, open cast coal mines.
