This school is a teacher of your life. It will teach you text book education as well as the lessons of life. The school is situated in a good location in Ramrajatala ( near Ramrajatala station , near santragachi more, near notun rasta).
Teachers are very interacting with students and guardians.
The school's Swaraswati puja is the best school puja in HOWRAH. Please do a visit in that time. This school was founded by Sir Asutosh Mukhopadhyay - the freedom fighter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The School was laid foundation stone by a famous notable important educationist Sir Asutosh Mukhopadhyay. He was Vice-chancellor of Calcutta University and founder of Jadavpur University and Raja Bazar Science College. His sculpture was inaugurated by his son Justice Chitrotosh Mukhopadhyay, Retired Chief Justice Calcutta High Court on 28th July, 2007. The School was established in 1925. It's a Bengali medium, Higher Secondary and Government sponsored School. In the morning it is a Girl's and in the day it is a Boy's Higher Secondary school. The school has produced great personalities in different spheres of life. There are two large play grounds which are rare in Howrah. The school emphasizes on extracurricular activities. The football team and Scout group are very popular.

*Big School with airy classrooms
*Teaching is moderate: Physics and some of arts faculty are extremely good, followed by Math and other commerce subjects
*Very good computer lab for students
*Off periods happen so less in numbers
* Have two playgrounds, a part of them used as parking lot and wheelchair accesable entrance available
*Big playground at the back of the school, probably the second biggest ground among schools in central howrah
*Full of extracurricular activities including seminars, parades, rallies etc
*Reputed scout group
* Some teachers are extremely good and friendly, even they will try to solve your problem during tiffin time and whenever they get time (at our time it happened)
*Physics department is so good with qualified teachers and maths department is also much good.
* Has tons of scientists, politicians, actors and notable alumnis
*Has a reputed football team winning tons of cup, like Barkuni Smiti Cup, MP Cup, HVI Bandhuta Cup, Reliance Foundation national championships, School bengal etc
Cons:
*Less number of faculties as every bengali medium school
*Management is not good
*A politics-ruined institution
*No CCTV
*Over-hard exam checking and correction
*Some teachers are so rude and think them to be the best (C.M, A.B, S.K.M). They give so much extra pressure to students
*Gardens are not maintained, old trees are being cut and newly planted tress are also in vain
*Chemistry is so bad, only one faculty (A.B), practicals are not done well by him...even at our time, everytime the clark helped us instead of the sir
*The TIC (C.M) is so over-confident, does not listen to students or other teachers though he motives at development much
Overall a moderate institution to be studied......
