A female patient aged 48, suffered a cardiac failure and was taken to this hosp early morning 4:30am(april 2021) and was admitted in ICU at the same time.
1. The ward boy was so lazy to open the gate of the hosp, even after watching the patient standing in front of the gate, gasping for each breath.He took proper 5-6mins to open the gate.
2. Despite a senior cardiologist (who was the treating dr of the patient and who asked her to get her admitted there) on phone was asking the junior dr to admit the patient and start the treatment, junior dr was refusing to admit her and was wasting time..finally after a lot of reqs he agreed to admit the patient.
3.Thanks to the junior dr who made the patient stable.
4. Later at around 12pm the main dr visited the patient in ICU. DR was not talking with us properly + the junior dr in that shift was super arrogant..he just didnt have the manners to talk with patient's relative.
5. Main part the main Dr asked the patient undergo 2D eco and several blood tests which was understandable. But
I was charged RS 7000 for 2D eco, even after the patient herself went walking to the 2Deco centre(which is behind the hosp)
RS3500 for 2D eco test + RS3500 consulting charge! insane
Blood tests cost us RS7000 ( understandable)
6. The main dr charged RS3500 per visit to visit his own hospital
35000*2 = RS7000
ICU 36hrs stay charged
6000*3 = RS 18000
Oxgyen charge for 6 hrs + RS 8000
nursing charge, Asst dr charges, etc
For 36Hrs of admission in ICU I was charged approx RS60000! in total .
we asked for early discharge of the patient because of the risk of covid and the staff in the hospital is 50% good and 50% bad (including almost all drs and the main dr )
Dr refused to discharge the patient and wrote on the discharge against medical advice on the discharge card which created problems for our claim settlement later.
All thanks to god, the patient has undergone heart surgery (CRT PACEMAKER) and is now perfectly fine.
I request such hospitals that they should stop looting, cheating in such difficult times .
Also , they should learn how to talk with patients and with their relatives.
consider this hospital as last option for your beloved one.
We struggled a lot in this hospital.
They just try to keep their beds occupied.
When we visited the hosp ( for some mediclaim work)
almost the hosp was empty ..no patients
after talking to some local people there, they said ( tumhara dimag kharab tha jo tum wo hospital mein gye)
