The city Sawai Madhopur is also a popular tourist destination in Rajasthan. The complex is a great place where you will find rural and ethnic works of various regions of Rajasthan. The Shilpgram was founded on 26th April, 2013 which was done by Ms. Bina Kak who was a former Hon'ble Tourism, Art, Culture, Forest and Environment Minister of Rajasthan. This shilp museum of handicrafts complex was especially fabricated to promote handicrafts of rural part of Rajasthan and also to provide a platform for rural people to display their skills through this Shilpgram. There was also a motive to encourage people to buy handicrafts and also to aware them of the rural life and the skills which the people of rural area possess. Visit Shilpgram during your trip to Sawai Madhopur and adorned the richness and perfection of the craftsmen of rural part of Rajasthan and their amazing handicrafts. The Shilpgram is spread across 22 acres of land. And the whole area is ornamented with handloom products and handicrafts made by people of that region. Various exhibitions and craft bazaars are organised here from time to time which are attended by huge number of people. Shilpgram is a main tourist spot of Sawai Madhopur The Shilpgram Museum is a craft village, situated near Ramsinghpura village, 9 km from Sawai Madhopur in India. It is a living ethnographic museum depicting the tremendous diversity in crafts, art and culture of various Indian states, especially the western part The foundation stone-laying ceremony of Shilpgram, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, was done by Bina Kak, former Hon'ble Tourism, Art, Culture, Forest and Environment Minister of Rajasthan on 26 April 2013. Shilpgram got renovated in 2017 and is being an attractive destination for tourists where the local crafts lure the tourist to spend some time in the tranquility of Ranthambhore. Spreading over 22 acres in land, Shilpgram is a platform where regional handicraft and hand-loom products is developed. Like other Shilpgrams, for example, Udaipur Shilpgram, tourist interest as well as public utility exhibitions and craft bazaars of handicrafts and handlooms are organized by Shilpgram. Sometimes to showcase their regional cultural heritage, they also organize cultural events.

Booking office for Ranthambore forest Safari. Very crowded morning 5:00 onwards. Place is full of agents, brokers, guides and gypsy and canter drivers.

Hardly 3/4 shops in the premise that too with very basic stuff. No food outlets, parking is good and washrooms are okay. Not recommended for tourists at all.

One of the worst place to book tickets, it must be under government but if you search for online safari booking you will only find agents & not the official website. In ranthambore city you will find an agent every 15 ft. There are lots of quota for different safari but all are captured by agents with support of the local staff. They even allow your tickets to hand over to any agent if he has your booking letter, no verification will be done. All rules are on papers & nothing is happening as per rules. If you give few bucks to your hotel they will arrange the collection of safari passes on behalf of you. Once the safari is booked it will not be cancelled/refunded back weather is due to lockdown, rain, maintenance or something else. They are just opportunist and want money either directly or through agents. General public has lesser chances of getting safari booking directly from official site & aggents will charge 50%-60% higher rates. They are not focused on safari & services; they are just into business & making money... I would say Gir safari is way more good, atleast they are not doing business in name of safari.

The place is nice to shop for handicrafts. But I visited recently during the pandemic time and in the evening. So most of the shops were closed. The place is located near the Ranthambore Tiger sanctuary and the Ganesh temple so you can easily visit this place if you are planning for any of the above mentioned places.

Went there for safari office to collect the boarding pass. Great location but they sell stuff on higher or double the price. Some of them have rude behavior as well. But I enjoyed my time there.
