Sree Sree Balananda Tirthashram is a nice and reliable place to stay there. Fully vegetarian canteen is present. So cheap. Breakfast@₹35, Lunch/Dinner@₹65 per head, tea@₹5 so max ₹175 per head per day for complete, satisfying, homely and hygienic meal for you. Room booking 1 month prior. I am recommending you this place for stay.

Our experience with Sree Sree Balananda Ashram is pretty well. Pros: 1- Best Location -in front of Golden Beach. I would suggest Golden Beach best area to stay in puri BECAUSE # Less crowded area as compared to Swargdar. # Not much Chopatis in this area hence no stinky smells of non-veg. # You can easily find veg stalls near ashram (in 80m area) # Temple is within 2km , Auto-rishaw take 2-Manager is friendly and cooperative staff. 3- Room was in good condition, beds were good (not-smelling) 4- Common Gallery for Sea Beach View. 5- They charge -600rs per room /night (ground floor - double occupancy) Cons 1- Mosquito problem 2- In washrooms Soaps not available. If you are planning to stay then bring your own soaps & mosquito repellent. 3- Lift is not working 4- There is no Attached Gyser in the Ground Floor Rooms, a common gyser is there. 5- They didn't provide Chapati in Morning and provide almost same menu daily. Morning Menu includes - Rice + Daal + 2 Sabzi. In Evening they provide Chapati as well rest are same. Overall - Golden beach Location is best to stay and hotel you can decide on above factors or search something more better. Hope it helps Travel Date - 10nov21

I was in room no 107. This room has an annexe room which has twin beds. This room is perfect for 4 people. The reception guy Kailash is very nice person. He guided us for Mandir visit also. The asram is located on beach road. Location is good. But is almost 20 min walking distance from Swargadar. Ashram is neat and clean. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are also well maintained. First floor rooms are better than ground floor rooms. They have a vegetarian restaurant in ground floor where anyone can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. But we didn't like their food as it was only potatoes and over sweetened. Breakfast=35; Lunch/Dinner= 65 Otherwise it was good stay. First floor balcony have perfect sea view. Every rooms has balcony with side sea view.

This hotel is the second building on the beach road, the first one being the holiday home of customs and duty dept., GOI. is on the beach road and obviously beach is just opposite to the hotel, crossing the road. You get excellent view from the common balcony of the hotel. Almost all the rooms have side balconies for side view of the sea. Room tariffs are non ac double bed 800/night and ac double bed is 1500/night and non ac 4 bed is 1200/night. But the sea view is the only good thing about the hotel. There is no lift in the hotel. Bathrooms don't have geyser. There is a common geyser on each floor and you have to carry your own hot water to your bathroom, that too only if the geyser works (when i stayed, it didn't). Maid will clean your room and bathroom daily but the bedsheets wont be changed for a single time (we stayed for 6 days). They wont give towel or even potty soap , you have to take your own. All the lights of the hotel are switched off and gates are closed at 10.30 pm. You have ask the security guard to open them. The foood available is only veg with awful quality. The rice they give is like puffed rice. Don't do the mistake of having lunch or dinner here. They give luchi(poori) and sabzi for breakfast which is okay. You can't take any non veg food inside the hotel. The hotel booking is done one month prior to your journey date and not before that. There is a temple on the 2nd floor and this hotel is mostly availed by old people for it's quiet and calm ambience.

Excellent location and budget lodge at beginning of Swargadwar road adjacent to Shakuntala Hotel, Deep Resort and Puri Hotel. The ashram has fixed room fares such as Rs.600 for double bed and Rs.800 for triple bed rooms in ground floor and Rs.900 for double and Rs.1200 for triple bed rooms upstairs on first and second floors. Stairs are there. Toilets are western types. Front rooms have nice sea view but all the rooms have common veranda which have perfect sea view. There's a canteen facility too at ground selling morning tea, Puri-sabji breakfast at Rs.35 and vegetarian Lunch/Dinner at Rs.65. Every floor has got geysers and water-purifiers for boarders to use that by themselves. Rooms and toilets are cleaned daily in the morning. Jagannath temple panda and travel agent for sightseeing also available from among the staff. Rooms can be booked by calling +916752228727
