★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gambhira is a math where the sandals, cane and other valuable items used by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu kept. There is an idol of Lord Krishna as well. The place inside has a calming effect. Kirtan is played all the time inside by devotees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is reated to the past time of Sri Chantaya Mahaprabhu who is non other then Sri Krsna Himself, took the form of a devotee.He stayed in Sri Dham Puri for 24 years.Sriman Mahaprabhu used to stay here in a small room (ghambhira) . Some of His personal articles are still there.

I totally agreed we should donate these kind of places instead of other where they force you to donate, this place need renovations, and they have very affordable accommodation too..
