Somnath temple has been a jyotirlinga site for the Hindus.
Every Shiv bhakt must visit once.
Gujarat tourism maintain it very well and develop very well around temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful temple. Shame was not able to take pictures on the ground as cameras and smart watches are not allowed . However can take outside the boundary. Take your time to enjoy the beautiful temple, surroundings grounds an excellent sea views.
Light show is in the evening is chargeable entrance ticket. The temple was not lit up in the evening as was hoping to see these.
Please avoid donating large amounts of money to the temple. Better to feed the poor outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is well maintained temple. There is cleanliness and if you stand on the back of it you will hear water which is very pleasant. There is only one problem shoe management is not good everyone keeps theirs shoes everywhere rahter than in the rack by trust because no one tells them and the rack is on the corner not easily visible

Well maintained premises.
Mobile, camera’s, digital watches, earphones etc are not allowed inside the temple. There is digital locker’s are available to keep our things safely at a decent price. don’t miss Arati at 7AM, 12PM and 7PM. And also there is a laser show will be conducted around 8PM-8:45PM about history of temple. We need to take a ticket at 30 rupees per person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. Wonderful temple next to Arabian sea west coast. Somnath is well connected with railways & roadways nearby airport is Diu 80km approx. Somnath trust also provides accommodation that is within walking distance from the temple. Digital gadgets are not allowed inside the premises, there is a digital locker facility right at the entrance of the temple. Gujarat tourism & Somnath trust a well-maintained temple and provided very easy access to needful facilities.
