★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This beautiful quaint temple once radiated pure grace and power of Lord khandoba.. But it's exteriors have changed drastically over the years, guess to match the lavish expansion of sai temple that's right across the road of the temple. The core or garbh greh of the temple is still the same but a lot has changed in its surroundings over a decade. The old time charm and beauty has been replaced with a structure that's easy to maintain and possibly meet the needs of the crowd of devotees that's ever swelling due to it's relevance to sai temple. None the less these cosmetic developments take nothing away from the divinity this temple holds. A must visit when in shirdi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shri Khandoba ji is incarnation of Lord Shiva and Gram devta of Shirdi. In this temple Mhalsapati ji was priest when Sai Baba came to Shirdi and met Mhalsapati ji who called him saying "Ya Sai" means aao Sai. That's how our Sai Baba got the name Sai. A must visit for every Sai devotee coming to Shirdi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was thinking of visiting Khandoba Mandir at Shirdi since long as I had heard about this old temple in various books. At last I could make it. Aarati was going on when I visited. It was an Thursday and an auspicious day. The temple is simple but quite peaceful and the one with faith would definitely feel divinity in its premise. Those visiting Shirdi should take the darshan of Khandoba too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Khandoba Mandir is a peaceful place for Devotees. My Granny told me to visit khandoba Mandir before Baba Darshan. Hence, worship Khandoba before Baba Darshan. Khandoba Mandir is located opposite to Shirdi Bus stand or cross the road from gate 4 and turn left and then head for 100 metres. You can see the temple under Banyan tree. According to the panditji, he told me that khandoba is nothing but Veera bhadra Swami. He is Kula daivam of Sai and Maharastra. Mahalsapati was the panditji of Khandoba at the times of Sai. He used to worship khandoba in the past. He called the 16 year old boy , "Idhar aa Sai". Then onwards he is been addressed as ?️SAI?️. The khandoba sculpture is looking good. Along with Khandoba, Baba, Lord Shiva, Mahalsapati and other Goddess Sculptures are there as you can see in the pictures. Overall, experience is wonderful.
