★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After covid they have closed online booking, so first come first basis rooms are allocated. You van also book rooms by phone call. Stay is near temple and clean n tidy. If you visit mahakaal then this should be first prefernce for stay in ujjain. Rooms are very cheap and affordable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took the rent of a c, but when we complained that a c is not working, then no solution was done by the worker here, but we were forced to sleep without ac the whole night. Nor was there any solution to it in the morning. This is a very irresponsible act which was very shameful. Rather, I urge that the workers there please do more work on improving their behavior. Jai Shree Mahakal ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bhakti niwas is nice property walking distance to temple,rooms are quite spacious,they have varities of room available,they have parking space, park, restaurant in the premises.affordable for everyone.Bharat mata mandir is also their which is very beautiful.Nicely maintained property

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor management. Online booking is not available, they advise to book on arrival. But when you arrive, you don't get a room.
Staff on reception and at the entry gate are arrogant.
This had happened twice that too on odd days when it was less.crowded.
Better to book any other dharmshala or hotel before visiting Ujjain..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly speaking this is the best place to stay if you're here for Mahakal Darshan. The only downside is the inconveniences that one have to face because of unavailability of online booking. Anyways the rooms are neat and clean, and 100% recommended for stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Dharamshala is located beside Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple (hardly 150m away approx.). The property is huge and has got a very nice lawn. Parking facility for cars is available - sufficient space is there for several cars. AC rooms (2B/3B/4B) are available at affordable and economical rates. Very neat and clean. A cafe is within the building where breakfast / evening snacks along with tea / coffee / cold drinks / mineral water bottle, etc. are available. The cafe runs from 6am to 9pm (room service available). A vegetarian restaurant (Satvik) is also there within the compound. The modest restaurant is open till 10.30pm. It serves Breakfast too. There is a very nice Bharat Mata Temple in the property.
Rooms are always on demand. It is advisable that you take prior booking.
Live Darshan of Shree Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga on LED Screen is arranged in the reception area where seating arrangements is also present for the guests to sit and watch.
One con - the area is mosquito infested. But mosquito repellant gadget is available on request.
The authorities are very particular about payment and they keep reminding even before one has actually defaulted in payment during their stay. Mostly they ask for advance payment as the rooms have a fairly high demand.
I have given a 4-star rating just to keep some room (1-star) for improvement.
Overall, it is a very pleasant place for the pilgrims or visitors and is a recommended one.

Trust responds that room can be booked on arrival but the rooms are not available when you arrive. they have stopped taking online bookings. Unfortunately this room booking was only negative thing I felt on trust part otherwise mahakaleshwar trust is perfect in every single management thing.
