I went to buy material for a suit. I neeed around 3 meters of material. One of the set of the the material I selected 3.6 meters and other has 2.8 metres (same colour both set).
The sales person said that he won't be able to sell me 3 meters from the 3.6 meter as .6 meter would go to waste. He said either buy the entire 3.6 meters or you buy 2 meter from one set and 1.2 meter from the other set as buying 2 different set for making one set of suit will require more than 3 meter of material. I said of that's fine but charge me for 3 meter only as I need 3 meter only, he refused that.
Then I said ok then give me 3 meter from the 3.6 meter set. He refused to sell m, saying either you buy the entire 3.6 meter or buy 2 meter and 1.2 meter from the two different sets and play for the amount of thr meterial you are buying
