β β β β β Wonderful experience. Accommodation is good, hygienic. Though it's a Jungle camp, bathrooms are really good. Food is just awesome! but Price is reasonable. Highly recommended.

There is a saying, βStop and smell the roses.β It doesnβt mean to simply smell flowers, it means to live in the moment with a great appreciation for the present and the things around us.
So let me ask youβ¦
Do you ever stop to smell the roses?
We most often find ourselves caught up stressed in our daily life chores. The responsibilities, deadlines, profit and loss game, toxicity and all those negative emotions burden us in ways where we forget to acknowledge the little moments of happiness.
We forget how the gate keeper wished us a bright good morning at the start of the day. We forget how a warm cup of tea relaxed us after that hectic day of matching balance sheets. We forget how that friend living a thousands miles away video called us while celebrating her birthday. We forget the comfort of eating a steaming hot home cooked meal at the end of the day. We forget the feeling of wearing that severely torn yet most comfy pajama while going to bed.
When we start living in the present and being self aware of the things around us, we'll start measuring our quality of life through these small moments, through the number of smiles the day brought to us in spite of coexisting with every other chaos that remained in life. We'll start appreciating those efforts made by people around us. In that process, we'll possibly touch and brighten their lives, as well.
When we start acknowledging these moments and be grateful for them each time that they happened, we'll eventually see that reacting to these moments with gratitude has become a habit, and may be we will start to feel happier all the time.

β β β β β Itβs not only an address of green but a verdant woodland, where our little Archisman remained busy in capturing the woodpeckers like a passionate photographer, the teenager guys discovered themselves afresh in the lap of the lush green Nature and the seniors dug out the days of their youth days while planting the Bougainvillea there, to spread the colours of their love, affection and values amongst the next generation.
It's neither a hotel nor a resort, but an address for your MIND with ample comfort far from the din and bustle of city life.
People who love solitude or the sound of silence in a conference of forest trees, specially on a moonlit night would be happy to post a letter for this address. Camping in Tents under a secured banner of CHLOROFEEL with caring members are added flavours.

β β β β β Sobuj Thikana is an experience in itself. A beautiful and exciting one!
Camping in tents amidst the lush greenery of Sal trees, eating the best local food - homemade ghee and aankher gur, cooked and served with all the love in the world, bon fires and barbecued chicken in chilly nights, taking long reflective walks in the forests, lit with the light of a thousand stars above, the sheer fun of adventuring into a life full of wilderness, that's this place for me.
This place isn't just any other tourist place. Once you step inside Sobuj Thikana you are a part of their family and once you return, you'll feel that you have left a part of you back there, in that second home of yours.
A big mention to the people who run this place day in and out. These people have a heart of gold. Sobuj Thikana is such an amazing place to be, most importantly for these people. All my love and regards to them.
In spite of being a camping site in a very offbeat location, it has all the basic amenities provided. You can find your little luxuries as well. Very well thought and put together by Mr. Kausik Pal. He will not leave any stone unturned to take care of you. A gem of a person he is and that's the reason he got such amazing people together to build up his dream place Shobuj Thikana in Banstala, Jhargram.

I have been to Jhargram before, few years back. Like most of the tourists, I had visited rajbari, chilkigarh, Belpahari... The tourist attractions in and around Jhargram. It's a beautiful and lesser known place to spend weekends. But I didn't feel like visiting those places (although I had plans to) after entering your premises. I had gone this time with my friends, who all live in kolkata. And in most of the trips it's extremely difficult to get everyone on the same page for little things. Strangely, in this case, nobody showed any desire to step out of Sobuj thikana for two and a half days. We slept in tents, ate bengali food, engaged in lazy campfiery chats, listened to the song of jugle, inhaled fresh air, drank water that made us more and more hungry to devour the amazing Bengali homely food you offered.
The hospitality your owners, the management, the food... Everything was spot on. I have stayed in tents before and hadn't really expected such a cosy stay. One shouldn't expect luxury if one wants to be one with nature. But people will get everything they 'need' to stay comfortable like running water, clean and modern bathrooms, campfire arrangements... The kitchen crew is amazing! Also people who visit you must understand the importance of maintaining the peace of the place, rule of the Jungle. Because that is what Sobuj Thikana is all about! You are what tranquility means to me, you are indeed a hidden gem dear Sobuj Thikana <3

β β β β β If you love nature, if you wish to spend some time in complete peace, if you are looking for some adventure in life...Shobuj Thikana is the place to be. Accomodation in tents with all modern facilities along with some very very delicious food, this place is a perfect holiday destination for group of friends, family, couple. Adding more, the superb hospitality will give u a homely feeling. Really enjoyed my stay here and will surely come back very soon. You just can't miss this.

β β β β β If you want to feel and listen to the language of forest this is the ideal destination for you. Come to this place, have a camping experience inside Sal forest, explore trees, birds. You will not realize how the time will pass. Many people have shared photos of the place so i shall not do that. In stead I shall throw light on another aspect of this destination. That is the mouth watering food for which anybody can spend here few days.
