Too crowded and you need someone, an agent to be precise, to make sure your work is done in a reasonable time or you'll be making rounds.

Bad staffs..you have to wait for a long time even though if you have an appointment...worst experience..wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this office.

We are waiting for EC since a week which is applied online. Not sure how to go about if people are expecting bribes for getting an EC online also!!! Pathetic!!

You need lots of patience if you plan to get your work done without agent. I recently went for getting EC and got it done in two days without agent. They keep the paperwork separate for people not willing to pay bribe and make you wait for no reason. They will tell officers are busy but the so called officers are busy clearing Paperwork from agents.

Very bad experience. Many broker around getting things done and you will not be even considered on humanitarian grounds. Many brokers getting done thru with their jobs and you get things done slowly. The funny part is that even after making you wait for long with no reason, but they don't hesitate to ask for bribe (sorry, should not call it like that. It's a personal service charges). No one under camera and can easily take bribes here. Don't know why government is not taking action to avoid this and get the service done effectively.

Went there for getting my marriage registered. At they first they were not sure if my address falls under their circle and asked me to check other offices. After some persuasion and showing the area in google maps, they discussed internally on phone and confirmed. There were no rush, not crowded and easy to meet and talk with authorities. I went the next day with all the required documents. It was too crowded, they were doing some land/flat registration and too busy. Anyways got my documents verified (500) and got signed and was asked to enter in computer by writer. The writer was too busy n made us wait for more than an 1.5 hours. She was processing around 20-30 registration documents and put our application aside. After repeated requests, she finally entered in the system and had us verified everything. Asked 200 service charge. Next photos were fixed, we were asked to sign (he took 100 for lunch) and sent for register’s signature. Again this took long time and we had to wait as the register was signing other documents on priority and did ours last. Finally got the Marriage certificate with govt fees of Rs 200. Overall not bad but had to wait for long hours due to their busy schedule. Went there around 11-11.30am and returned by 3.30pm. If I had brought the documents and photos the previous day when it was not crowded, things might have been over in 2hours. Don’t go with agents, the agents asked around 4-5k. Going there direct, everything got done in 1k including Govt fees of Rs. 200 and rest extra which is ok ( far less compared to agent fees).
