★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is a good place for a peaceful residence. Off from the main road, peaceful community, lots of kids around, decent play area and swimming pool, good enough gym, decent community hall and good neighbourhood.

Peaceful families living
RO water available
Community events make you feel homely
Easy access to ITPL and companies
Good connectivity of City buses
Easy Uber and Ola availability
Supermarket is next door
HDFC ATM and branch are at walkable distance
Bigbasket supplies fresh as their godown is vey close
Tata motors car service is around 5km away - KHT motors is good for breakdown service
Udupi grand is good in providing mediocre food in emergencies
Most of Dominos and MCD home deliveries will be fast as they both are close by
Very easy access to Phoenix mall and Phoenix is a good place to shop in weekends
Works well if you have a cycle to move around
Cons:
No Cauvery water - most of the supply is through tankers
Right side of the building (when you face it) is open to industries - can be noisy at times
Play area insufficient for kids - so make sure your cars are safe to avoid scratches
Power backup will not be available 24x7
No Broadband service provider - No Airtel, No Act, No BSNL (some Citynet is available with not a reliable service)
There are mosquitoes (not menacing) but beware
Personal UPS cannot be installed - electrician claims that the UPS charging board will require frequent replacements due to DG backup
No solar water heater - installed but not working
No pharmacy nearby - neither hospitals (RxDx is there but the traffic is worst, most of the time)
Supermarket has stock of everything but you’d need to go to some mall for big purchases - grocery isn’t great here
No hardware shops in the closest 5 range
No Photocopier nearby - Printo is closed On weekends
Rain wrecks the access road - so be ready to drive your car out when it rains
Traffic at 09:00 is awful. The traffic from graphite India signal reaches the access road
Inorbit mall is the closest at around 4 kms- with Hypercity and shoppers stop
The pub nearby is very loud, and it gets worse on weekends when people booze and cry their throats out to karaoke - you better think of this if you’ve kids
Medical help for both kids and adults are scarce in Whitefield - don’t even think of going to Playstreet/Nightingales
Forget the presence of Rainbow children’s hospital- prohibitively expensive healthcare for your kids
With Metro work planned till 2020, you can avoid moving in if you have problems with respiration - while driving or otherwise
