This pond is called as Taal / तालाब (pond) by the locals. This is one of three pond where one is situated at village Bhalawag 5kms away and another at village fanevati around 1Km away. All these three said to be 84 haath deep and 82 hath wide. And its made with stone simply but had the capacity to hold the water during those days. But for safety of the people and other, it was filled with sntone and mud.
