★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tala Jheel Park is also known as the Jatindra Mohan Park. It is situated at ward number 5 in the Kolkata Metropolis. A good park that suits everyone's temperament. It is the home of a number of clubs where youngsters are trained for swimming. That said, it also has the Tala Laughing Club for recreation of the sceniors. The park is known for its age old cool green shades and nursery. Moreover, there is a big Jheel or lake in the middle of the park that adds an icing to the overall appeal of the park. Plus, the park remains crowded with the visitors, especially by the locals, throughout the day. Further, the park is perfect for a visit at any time of the day. Visitors could spend some quality time in peace, and in the presence of a water body. Fact is, the park has wonderful and unique collection of trees that naurishes the inner soul to the highest degree.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a round shaped lake and a garden is situated at the middle of this lake and connects with a bridge. There are two swimming training centre opposite corner of the lake. There are walking and sitting place available for morning walk & yoga surrounding this lake. Bank of this lake is arranged by big trees.
Quality of the water is not fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good palce to be visited by anyone irrespective of age and gender.. ? Good scenic beauty all round the park.. It's really good to spend some time in the evening hours for a walk round the lake.. It will help anyone to relax.. Also there are two swimming clubs..!! Both for boys and girls of all ages.. They provide kits and teaches them really well..
Happy to see such a huge park in kolkata..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my personal favorite hang out spots. It's extremely serene and picture perfect during morning and evening walks.
With plenty of eateries around, this place is perfect for exercising or for just hanging out with friends.
The park is opened at around 5 am each morning and remains open until 8:30 - 9 am. After which it reopens again at 4:30 - 5 pm and remains open till 6:30 - 7 pm.
Presently, there are plenty of buses available towards Howrah, Lake Town, RathTala, Central Avenue, etc. Autos are also available till Belgachia metro station all the way from DunDum station to R. G. Kar hospital.

Long before Saltlake and Newtown was set up, this beautiful place was in existence. Variety of festivities regularly organized here, the prominent among them is Durgapuja.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful and charming place. Perfect to have beautiful Conversations with friends or special ones. There is a pond in the middle of the park. And it's really a big area. You can go for walks here. Again here is a kind of gym which is absolutely free and used by a great number of people. There is two swimming schools too. You can learn to swim.
