★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst guest house we ever stayed. They took Rs.2400/- for two days + we gave tip if Rs 200/- in advance hoping a good service. But it's worth less than 500/- a day as shown in its Priceline. The caretaker did not provide clean water, did not clean the room. He charged for 12 noon checkout whereas on notice board it's 24 hours ckeckout which we saw later. Caretaker does not have much knowledge of Kolkata, he mislaid us for Sundarban bus stop to Babu ghat instead of Dharamtala. Due to which we spent lot of time. He just speaks with sweat tongue. On 2nd day we asked him that we have checked out and requested to keep our luggage in small room which he accepted. But in the evening he started arguing for day's rent which we didn't pay. The only + things to quote, it is located at walking distance from Howrah station and TV in the room is working with only free channels. Never come here with family. Overall it's a dirty. We don't know whether the owner is aware of facts. He must look into it considering its location. People will surely prefer the place if it is handled carefully.
