Campus is green and spacious. Unlike other universities, the intake batches is quiet less and the focus of study is relatively high.

Apart from this the students get to work with experienced professionals in their respective fields during their sessions. Many imminent personalities and ministers visit the university to share their experience with the students. Overall a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small in size but packs a punch. It is a suitable place for new age career seekers, which are environmentally conscious. The university is also perhaps the only place for the sustainability enthusiasts. Providing ample opportunities for developing specific skill sets for niche programs pertaining to environment and sustainability. It is country’s foremost university dedicated to environment studies. One Niche area is availability of cross cutting programmes (topics like energy policy, public policy, subjects like these are amalgamation of technology, economics, management, legal, regulatory issues ) which are usually not found in India.
Has good international linkages with other like minded organizations. Most of the faculty members are often practitioners rather than plain academicians (on account of TERI linkages, which implements projects related to sustainable development), and that really helps in smooth transition from college life to work life. At my time there wasn't really much to complain about. I believe placement scenario has been improving over the years.

It offers only Masters courses in environmental subjects, biotechnology, MBA, and M. Tech in different disciplines. It is situated adjacent to the Aravali Biodiversity Park and has beautiful views of nature and rocks.
