The staff is very friendly and understanding and guide us according to the required disability of child's need. But they will not encourage to do physiotherapy before the age of 6 and encourage other motor skills and sensory activities in Early Intervention unit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ APD is an Association that seeks to provide vocational skills to PwDs so they can live a fruitful life. Their centre in Lingarajapuram is truly heartwarming. The place is slightly difficult to spot, on a narrow alley off the main Hennur road. The centre is well maintained, with numerous buildings with different purposes. The students, or the PwDs are incredibly warm and friendly, and will radiate happiness even though they speak only Kannada. The management team is very welcoming as well, a few special mentions being Ms. Shailaja and Mr. Vinayak, who deal with the students very patiently. My visit was really eye-opening, since I learnt so much about PwDs and their current situation. APD is really committed to a great cause and you should try and help them out, by volunteering or donating.
