Decent food, poor service. When asked to remove the service tax due to poor service they tell you that you're making excuses for being a cheap crowd! Please find a better place for North Indian food, I would suggest Mini Punjab as a much better place to go!

Food is very tasty, but it is overpriced compared to its quantity and ambience. So personally I felt eating too costly even though it was not required. Also one thing which is wrong with the restaurant is that they charge service tax too, which is basically illegal. But since most of the customer do not pay attention to this in the bill, and they pay too. But when I went with my family, I opposed that why service tax is being charged if government has not included it , to that the manager replied that, people who come here are not very poor so even they are charged few extra hundred bucks , that is not wrong. The manager name is Bunty Singh, he started giving us philosophy about karma and all and started supporting his case of charging service tax as justified and proper. He was really a admant man who was very much in a zone that him charging service tax is kind of OK. I would recommend not to visit this restaurant because you will get much nicer restaurant in powai than this.

We went for a quick bite and the staff was very kind enough to welcome and treat us well. The taste was good, Aloo Sindoori Tikki-4/5,Paneer Lababdaar-4/5 and Jeera Rice-4/5, quantity was good enough for 2. The Server named Kamrul Hoque gave whatever details he could and if he did not know asked the chef to choose a good dish as we asked about multiple ones and chose the above, he was very well mannered and gave us suggestions with the quantity as well which helped us to order what can be eaten and matched our taste buds. Overall, Ambience-4/5,Food-4/5,service-5/5, worth a visit.

Food is decent but service was very horrible. Had to ask waiter even for serving saucer plates. Waiter comes with service charge included in bill. Told him nicely to remove service charge (as it's voluntary & not mandatory to pay). Then comes manager, almost forcing us to pay service charge. Told him it's not mandatory (argued with him for literally like 5 mins). Finally he accepted and said, that's very cheap. Owner - do get a new manager. Wish google had given us option for zero star rating. For all the customers - Service charge is not part of taxes. It's voluntary & not mandatory. If you feel service wasn't good enough - ask them to remove it. If they don't - go to consumer court. Beware, these type of restaurants are taking customers for a ride!

Another visit to The Butter Kitchen, but this time the experience was quite a bit below par. The ambiance is good, (nothing much has changed) for a causal dinner. The service was slow and disturbed. This time to such a level that while I was ordering the waiter actually moved away mid order. I don't know why... I was dumbfounded. However that too would be ok since the food is good, but here the lack luster experience was due to the extremely small portions of food. By no means is the food cheap, for a casual evening, but it's definitely not enough.

It did justices to its name, It was indeed buttery kitchen. Nyc Ambience, Amazing starters, Courteous Staff. The only thing that wasn't up to the mark was the main course. It was very rich and creamy but failed to have the flavours, it was rather bland.
