★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a small station of toy train which runs for passengers from Elephants ferry terminal to nearest point to Elephanta caves. Though one can walk also but certainly taking a ride is fun especially for kids and family. However there is lot of rush for train ride.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took a ferry from gateway, got down here and there was a toy train running, charges 10 to enable someone reach the endpoint 1 min earlier than if you walk....fun though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferry ghat is little bit far from the cave, Toy Train facility available to transport from cave to Ferry ghat. On the way there has several small handcraft shop, food stall, restaurant etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful place . 5₹ per passenger for one side Ticket and Enjoy quick Travel on kids train. But if you go to walking you can see more beauty of See and mountain. I suggest you to go by walking and come by train and enjoy beauty of Elephanta Cave . ( D.O.P - 9/8/2017)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best experiences in mumbai suburbs I have so far. Ferry ride from boat-jetty terminal to ticket counter of elephana monumental site. The view of sea, hills & long line-up of boats ⛵ is mesmerizing.
Decent prices of tickets, clean yet vintage.. recommended from my side ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So this is the ferry station, from here either you are on your own or you can prefer toy train ride. Both sides ride will cost you around 10rs. The ferry ride from gateway of India to elephanta caves is around 2 hours long and costs you 200rs. Best time to visit elephanta caves is morning if you want to explore all places peacefully.

The place is best for antique items
Sea pearl earrings and necklace is there
Food is bit costly like vadapav is for 20/- Maggie 40/- , wafers and chips which is cost 5 rs are selling in 10 rs.
But place is nice and View also good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Connecting point to MUMBAI and Ghara puri island aka Elephanta cave area in the Arabian Sea on the east Side of Mumbai. One can see many changes here during high tide and low tide scenario one land around. I saw both since I came morning 10am and left at 3 pm. When I came it was dry with less water yet when I was leaving water was full around. Saw boats submerged well which was lying idle earlier. Slippery spaces with sea ? and deck to host ferry ⛴ coming and leaving passengers on the go. Lovely place to come and witness area around. Do visit and chill urself
