Being a punjabi i cant explain my love and home sickness for punjabi food, living in pune i have craved for authentic punjabi food and The Little Punjab have always been the saviour. They serve delicious, authentic yet affordable food. Tried their chur chur naan thali, which by far the best thali i had in pune, the authenticity of the dish could be seen just by looking at the thali. The taste was amazing, made me go to an heavnly tour to old punjab memories. The chicken biryani was mind-blowing, the dum flavour and the aroma was just mesmerizing, The chicken was cooked well, all the flavours of the chicken biryani was standing out. The paneer chattakedaar, which is their speciality, had a well balanced tangy, sweet and spicy flavour. The base is dominated by the tomato puree and balanced by the flavours. Also do try their starters. I loved the place overall, being a punjabi would recommend this place.

Here's Presenting 2 Brand New Mahabali Thali's (Veg and Non-Veg) at The Little Punjab - Pune. To be very Honest, I've never seen and had such humongous thali before, both the thali's are absolutely delicious and are bound to please the most demanding of tastebuds. Both are lovely to look at and even better to eat. All the gravies had excellent flavor and consistency which eventually leaves nothing to be desired for. I personally loved & will recommend the Non-Veg Mahabali thali because of the chicken which was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly with just the right Punjabi spices. The thali's are accompanied by a delicious array of assorted roti's and in the end some sensational desserts like Gulabjamun and Moong Dal Halwa that always pleases and it's worth the calories! The little punjab is the best place for punjabi food on sinhgad road, specially for non-veg food. It's a decent place located near famous khau galli of goel ganga. We tried something huge. Mahabali thali, veg and non-veg. I am sure one thali would be enough for 4-5 people. So it is worthy. Non-veg thali had delicious chicken dishes, No mutton or no fish since it is a punjabi cuisine restaurant, 5-6 types of different chicken gravies with perfectly cooked chicken in every single dish, mainly each gravy tasted different, because i had a huge thali at someother place where every dish tasted same. But here, you can easily feel difference in your taste buds. Murg masala and egg masala was my favorite. Thing huge thali contains different nonveg parathas and enough rotis, so you might not need to order for extra rotis. Chicken dum biryani and ghee rice also includes in the thali so enough of rice too. This thali is capable to satisfy your chicken cravings In, veg mahabali thali there was really delicious veg dishes just like non veg one. Not so veg person but i really loved all the dishes, lots of paneer and different type vegetables that is all about veg. Just like the non veg thali, veg thali also have different veg parathas and rotis. Shahi paneer was really delicious! Jeera rice and dal makhani are made for eachother, the little punjab proved it. Veg mahabali thali contains veg biryani as well, which was really tasty. Both thali contains patiyala chass and patiyala lassi, patiyala lassi was the hero of the table, huge glass of delicious lassi is all i need after a heavy meal! Must try that lassi. Dessert time! There were two types of dessert in both thalis, gulabjamun and moong dal halwa, both desserts were good but moong dal halwa stole my heart, it was litreally on point! Over all, l would recommend this place not just for mahabali thali but for fantastic and food and service, it is a VFM place, so please fo for it! You won't regret! That's all about heaviest punjabi meal i ever had in my life! Thank you so much for great service and good food! Live, love, eat!

Food, ambience and hospitality - all were very good. Food: got very unique and noteworthy tasty food. Ordered special chicken thali, special veg thali and sarso saag makke ki roti combo. Everything was very good. Out 6 yr old ordered French fries and they were in wholesome quantity at reasonable cost. Delivery was a bit stretched but I guess on Saturdy night extra time will be required. Courteous staff noted down orders correctly and were friendly. Worthy of a visit.

We were at " The little Punjab " for dinner the authentic north indian food place at Sinhagad road. We had ordered their special veg thali. Which included paneer bhaji , veg bhaji , dal makhani , rice and 2 laccha paratha's with sweet i.e gulabjamun and papad . ( Copy pasting the order from their menu? ) The king of the thali was dal makhani - it tasted heavenly and rich in taste , veg bhaji was quite flavourful. But the paneer bhaji didn't taste as same as how mouth watering it looks ( the orange one ) it was a bit bland and had only haldi ka taste. Gulab jamun was melting in the mouth. Laccha paratha was also crunchy and buttery . Quantity was fulfilling for 2 people . And prices also were pocket friendly . Must try place βœ…
