★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Umrao is a 4 star property situated at the border (entrance) of Gurgaon, right before 2 kms from Gurgaon toll plaza before Ambience mall, on way from Delhi to Gurgaon. It is on right hand side.
We stayed there for 2 days n night and loved the hospitality of staff. The rooms were decent with pool and garden view with almost all required amenities, expected from a decent 5 star hotel n resort. It was a hassle free and very comfortable stay. It's a big property, probably in acres with big size halls n ground for wedding reception.
The complimentary breakfast was amazing with many options to eat. It served delicious items in breakfast buffet.
I really loved the behaviour of staff with good management and great hospitality. The wedding ground was huge with unique decor giving lavish look n feel with endless food items offering amazing variety and taste!
Enough space for parking. Enough space to sit in lobby area n to moach around. The pool side haldi function turned out to be a very classy feel, especially for the photography.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well a great resort i must say. Although the pricing is high, but it has lavish lawns, swimming pools, great luxurious rooms and food is also good. You can definitely visit this place if you wanna try out resort experience in Delhi. Mostly wedding destination but still a good one for a buffet dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a nice experience staying with The Umrao while we stepped out of our house to celebrate our daughter's 2nd birthday. The breakfast service was great, however there is scope to improve the menu and include more options. Overall we had a good time in this decently maintained property.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here in my Cousin's wedding. Venue was great, décor was on point however food services wasn't much good. At the end of the wedding it was very difficult to get water. That was only issue I have, rest it was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well it was valentine's day and I booked this place with a very high expectations. But my experience was nothing but utter disappointment. The moment I entered the premises ordered food it literally came after 1:30 hrs and that too cold and tasteless. Wifi is not working and even after multiple calls to front office they were not able to resolve the issue citing IT staff is not present. They have very indifferent staff least bothered to address any concerns. I would not suggest this place to anyone to visit if you want to have a special occasion go smoothly. This hotel is not child friendly at all. Never book this place specifically during special occasions because these guys will do there very best to screw it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Property was good, clean rooms and bathroom. Food was awesome but staff was not helpful. I took one star because if the staff, i got a flat tyre in the morning when i was about to check out, obviously it was difficult for me to change tyre so i asked for help from the reception and instead if helping me they just straight away said sorry we cant help in this. Imagine you are paying for 2 nights and still not getting any sort of help when in problem. I had to ask some driver there to help me with it and he was kind enough to do it for which i am very thankful to him but talking about the resort. Yes its a good place to hang out and chill but if you are in any problem then you are all on your own, the staff will not be bothered as they have other rich clients to take care for. If you don't have a driver then better visit this place through a cab, they will provide you with all luxury but no help at all in difficult situations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Umrao offers a perfect retreat from the repetitive drudgery of busy city living. The executive rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated. The room itself opens onto a covered patio with your own private jacuzzi. The buffet dinner and breakfast both had ample variety for vegetarians & non vegetarians. The staff deserves a special thanks for their warmth & hospitality for making the stay an unforgettable experience.
