I got an opportunity to dine at The Veg Culture on Monday evening. Opportunity came to me as a GiveAway through Rinkel Arora (DineDelicous). This place has become operational since Jan 2018. Great decor, cozy sitting and bright lighting is to summarize the ambiance. Mocktails : Spicy Tiger (INR 210) – I am reluctant to try mocktails as I have always got sugar syrups in glasses. Here presence of Ginger in contents prompted me to order it. I asked steward to make it less sweet. Trust me, it turned out as a big hit. I liked it. For the first time I finished my mocktail completely without sharing it with anyone. Starters : Tharkari Chilli Fry (INR 175) – Can be considered as regional version of β€œVeg Crispy” where normal spices are swapped with Chettinad spices. It was served with grated coconut topping along with 3 dips. Liked it. Would have loved if pieces were in small or medium size. Vidus Special Rassam Puri (INR 150) – This was a surprise element. An effective way to promote regional cuisines with a twist. Let me simplify this. You get 12 Puris with 3 variants of Rassam. Rassam came in test tubes. Impressive ! You score here. Vidus Nachos (INR 315 ) - Presented good. Corn chips with melted cheese. Cheese tasted good. Topping of Mexican beans was something I didn’t like. Corn chips size could be made half. It’s a personal choice. Funghi Vidus (INR 295) – Showstopper it was ! Roasted mushrooms with hint of lemon and topped with garlic. Mushroom tasted good with garlic. for me, this was a combination never tried or thought before. Recommended ! Tobasco Pizza (INR 350) – Pizza with mozzarella and topped with tobacco plus tomato. Enjoyed having it though I won’t say tag it as a β€œMust Have”. Falafel Pockets (INR 275) - A Lebanese preparation where pita pockets are stuffed with hummus, chickpea bullets and sauces. Served with 2 dips. Tasted good. Cheese Garlic Bread – Taste wise good. Bread lacked the fresh feel. Texture of bread was rough/hard. Something to checked/improved. Chhole-Kulche (INR 250 + 60): I am in search of a place serving great Chole-Kulche. I thought of checking it here too. Kulcha was good. The one served tasted very mild which usually I won’t prefer. Desserts - Tiramisu Italiano (INR 285) - 10/10 for presentation. complete delight for sight and taste buds. Presence of coffee was felt, it was not over-powering taste. Finger licking stuff. Mango Cheese Cake (INR 250) – Bidding adieu to season of Mangoes. Good texture. Sugar usage was moderate. Liked it. Elaneer Payasam (INR 165) - To simplify, it is Tender Coconut Kheer. A popular dessert in Kerala and Tamilnadu. Tasted amazing and bowl got vanished in minutes. Recommended ! Ada Pradhaman (INR 165) – Another classic dessert from God’s own country. Basic ingredients, simple recipe. It is a rice and coconut milk based dessert where Jaggery is used as sweetener. Preparations where Jaggery is used instead of sugar, impress me. If there a niche chance to make it thicker, please try. It was a great experience with Team veg Culture. I will plan a visit with my family who is pure vegetarian (I am an exception). I thank Mr. Praful and Mr. Aayush from Management team for hosting such a lovely dinner.

Very nice place for the vegetarians. It has a good ambience and the interior is very classy. Coming on the to the food, we tried paneer dishes and they were very tasty. In desserts, we tried tiramasu cake and black forest pastry, tiramasu cake was awesome but the black forest cake was usual.

The Veg Culture - This place is amazing, let it be food, ambiance or service. I am in love with the veg culture. A multi-cuisine restaurant totally worth visiting. This place is located in Westend Mall, Augoing Being a pure vegetarian, I always prefer going to a vegetarian place for a family dinner or group outing. This place is a perfect option to enjoy your food after a good shopping spree. Ambiance: The Ambiance is really attractive and pretty. The wall decor and sofa seating are decent. This place is soothing and had good vibes. I loved the interiors and cute cushions too. Food: The menu is vast and you have a lot a variety to choose from South Indian, Italian, Mexican, Indian, etc. You definitely cannot miss their desserts and mocktails. I ordered South Indian starters~ Vidus special rassam puri: If you want to try a unique kind of pani puri then you can surely try this which has south Indian taste rassam pani of pudina, tomato, chili, Indulge in a wonderful experience. Tharakari chili fry: This dish had a deep taste of south Indian tadka. It has had veggies battered fried with masala and served with chutney. *Recommended* Paneer Koliwada: Paneer piece was battered fried served with green chutney. The paneer was soft and juicy. Yummy Italian Starters~ Pane Aglio Burro: A unique name but a simple dish I.e. Garlic bread with cheese. Crostini Assortiti: Piece of toasted bread topped with chopped tomato pieces, zucchini,Β Chickpea, sundried tomatoes, extra olive oil, and oregano. Tasty ? Mexican~ Vidus Nachos: *Highly Recommended* Pizza~ Pizza is a must try. It was super tasty. Tabasco: Thin crust pizza topped with Spicy tomato sauce, sundried tomatoes, chilli, jalap, no, and mozzarella. Carduni: Fresh tomato sauce, mushroom, garlic, olives, broccoli, sundried tomatoes, and mozzarella. Desserts~ Rich Chocolate Mousse: Chocolate lover. I totally have sweet tooth and love eating chocolate desserts and this rich chocolate mousse was up to the mark. Tiramisu Italiano - Are you a coffee lover or a Tiramisu fan then you must definitely order this dessert. It was good to taste and worth trying. Mango Cheese Cake: If you`re a mango lover then this dessert is a must try. It was soft and mouth melting. Very tasty. *Recommended* You can also request for Jain food while ordering. The service was quick. The staff is good. Don`t miss the chance to try all multi-cuisine at the veg culture. You can plan group outing for lunch dinner or throw a party out here. Must visit.

Restaurant is very good but the problem is that, they are not able to attract the public. Seems they will close their operation soon, as they are in heavy loss. As compared to food court it's little bit costly. They recently closed South Indian dishes as they were not getting any profits on that. However South Indian dishes were amazing. I was fan of Pudina Rasam.

This may be the only walk-in restaurant in Westend Mall's Food Court -- I'm not sure, but it was a delight to find such a place on this otherwise rather noisy level. It's a very special little hideaway with one particular nook you can really "get away from it all." The ambience is lovely and relaxing, something I'd describe as high-class casual. My Mexican guacamole and salsa dip with home-baked corn chips was excellent. And the menu was quite varied. Service was also excellent. My only minor criticism is that the same music kept playing over and over. It was semi-inspirational, so not as difficult to deal with as some other kinds of music might have been. But surely they could change the play list after several repeats of the same piece! Definitely a good place for a sip or bite while shopping, perhaps even as a destination for those who look for places to meet and be able to carry on meaningful conversation with friends.
