★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was always among the top rung of Kolkata theaters. But after a major facelift few years back, this can easily be compared with Rabindra Sadan. The superb acoustic, seating arrangement, enormous stage, spacious green room, clean bathrooms everything contribute to its being in the top 10 of Kolkata theaters. The location is well connected but parking is a headache.
