★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mahajati Sadan is an auditorium located in Chittaranjan Avenue, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This auditorium is regularly used for Bengali theatres. Seminars are also organized in the seminal hall of Mahajati Sadan. This auditorium was an important part of India's freedom movement.
Subhas Chandra Bose, the famous Indian freedom fighter made a request to Rabindranath Tagore to create an auditorium and in response to the request of Bose, Tagore laid the foundation stone of Mahajati Sadan in 19 August 1939.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have good experience with this auditorium. Moreover the history of this auditorium makes us proud. And coming to the leg space and comfort, I think the freedom fighters or the great personalities of those times knew the art of adjustment. They were more compassionate than us.
