★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place..... Cool breathe of the Ganges, superb view of the Dakkineshwar temple, & the bridge..... Apple of the pie would be the full moon surrounded by the clouds....(sounds a bit poetic) I was with my fiance,,,,so that was the best moment ever on a ghat

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well maintained & well-lit Ghat, this is one of many Ghats across Uttarpara…..just like Varanasi! The place is so awesome towards the dusk & the summer evening....nice hangout place for all ages, you can find young crowd jamming in groups thus creating a chilled-out & magical atmosphere. Enjoy the cool breeze of the Ganges, with noukas (boats) passing by intermittently. This Ghat is a little gem, just 10-steps down from the GT Road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good sit here in the afternoon. Dakhineswar Mandir is opposite side of Ganga. Aslo the nice view of Vivekananda's bridge. But it should be more cleaned.
